An instance of SCP-XXXX known as SCP-XXXX-5. It is currently allowed to walk freely throughout the Facility as the Site-9 mascot. Site staff gave it the name pebbles.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a standard containment cell lined with anti-electromagnetic and anti-static materials at research and containment Site-9 located in ████ County, New Hampshire. Any personnel are able to use SCP-XXXX as long as the personnel has level 2 or higher security clearance and has been given permission by a personnel with level 5 security clearance or higher. While a personnel is using SCP-XXXX, 1 member of the onsite 8 person Mobile Task Force XT-8 (The Lollipop Guild) must be inside of the containment chamber. Anything printed from SCP-XXXX is to be examined, tested, decontaminated, and is to be thoroughly cleared and checked before being handed back to the personnel who printed it. NEVER under any circumstances are any instances printed from SCP-XXXX allowed to leave Site-9. In case of any printed living organism becoming hostile or if the personnel has printed an instance of any other SCP, all members of XT-8 have the full authority to terminate/destroy the printed organism and or object (see Experiment log #13 for more information). The UIU division of the FBI, may request access to SCP-XXXX, this request is to be Approved or Denied by a unanimous vote by all members of O5. In the case of a possible containment breach, all power to SCP=XXXX's containment chamber will be shut off. In the event of a K-Class scenario, SCP-XXXX will be transported to Site-█. SCP-XXXX has shown capability to cause any number of K-class scenarios due to its ability to print other SCP's including their anomalous effects (See Incident 3-A for more information). Any tests or experiments involving SCP-XXXX's ability to print SCPs is to be requested to O5 command and must have a unanimous approval among the O5. Any personnel doing so without O5 approval are to be imminently terminated.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 3D printer with an 610x610mm base plate and has a print height of 800mm and has a standard NEMA wall socket plug, of which, it can receive power from. SCP-XXXX is able to print any object and organism that is much larger than itself. However, these will be scaled down to the maximum size that will fit inside the printing bay. SCP-XXXX was developed by DEKA Research and Development Corp in an attempt to create a 3D printer that can print almost everything. SCP-XXXX cannot, however, print liquids. Because of this, it is unknown how it is able to print living organisms. SCP-XXXX has been shown to be able to print exact duplicates other SCPs (See Experiment log #12 for more detail). SCP-XXXX does not have a filament container and has been shown to be able to operate like SCP-294, proving it doesn't need any kind of 'filament' to operate. It is unknown what the range of SCP-XXXX is. It is estimated to be able to reach the 23.16 million light years. However, this has yet to be proven.

Operation: In order to make SCP-XXXX work, you must use one of two methods. A USB attachment, known as SCP-XXXX-3, that consists of a numerical and alphabetical keypad with a small screen. Once attached, the user can type in anything or select a previously printed object and have it be printed. Only SCP-XXXX-3 is allowed to be used during testing as it is cheaper to repair a keypad rather a entire computer. SCP-XXXX has wireless functionality which allows SCP-XXXX to be used anywhere in the facility. There is only one computer that has the software, SCP-XXXX-2, to make SCP-XXXX work. It is a small ██████ branded laptop known as SCP-XXXX-1. In the case of SCP-XXXX-1 ceasing to function it is to be taken to the onsite IT department and repaired. If SCP-XXXX-1 cannot be repaired, the hard drive is to be taken and swapped into a different laptop and will continue operations until that laptop dies as well. Copies of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be taken and moved to a remote server built using only SSDs located at Site-█, as the risk of mechanical hard drive failure is too high. Copies of SCP-XXXX-2 can be distributed upon request.
NOTE: All instances printed from SCP-XXXX are to be addressed as SCP-XXXX-X. THERE IS ONE EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered by Agent ██████ on 3/28/2019 at DEKA Research and Development Corp in Manchester, New Hampshire. It was the worlds first attempt to make a 3D printer that could print using any material. Agent ██████ was positioned as a 'Lead Developer' on the project. SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties where discovered when a software developer was preforming a dry run on the printer with a simple test model of a parrot without filament. This way, they could see if the printer would go the correct coordinates without having to test filament types. When the printer was finished, a living bird came flying off the platform. All personnel who knew of the project were taken into Foundation custody, interviewed and given class C amnesics. SEE INTERVIEW 7 FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE SUBJECT.
