Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX should be monitored for movement at all times. Site staff should be constantly ready to adjust the portable walls stationed around SCP-XXXX in case of any movement. The staff on-site must not let any non-authorized individuals within 1 km of the site. A drone is used routinely to check SCP-XXXX's surface for changes. SCP-XXXX-1 instances must have their vitals monitored for any changes, and staff will tend to the SCP-XXXX-1 instance with a drone if needed. If any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 start to regain consciousness, the staff are required to pilot the on-site drone and its equipment to monitor the behavior of SCP-XXXX-1. If the instance of SCP-XXXX-1 becomes fully unaffected by SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties, the drone is to be used to cover and apply pressure to the instance of SCP-XXXX-1's eyes, to stop the bleeding. One of the 14 unmanned ground vehicles will then be dispatched to the SCP-XXXX-1's location and will be transported back to the safe zone. Doctors will then take care of the instance until death or full recovery.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to most as a sphere made of an unknown metallic material hovering 4 meters above the ground. SCP-XXXX randomly phases in and out of its metallic form and will appear as a cluster of eyeballs, with varying sizes and colored pupils, being held by a semi-transparent material. It is located adjacent to a pecan farm 2km away from the town [REDACTED]. Based on observations, SCP-XXXX appears to have a width and height of 2m. SCP-XXXX will change appearances depending on the individual looking at it, but its most common appearance is that of a cluster of eyeballs. SCP-XXXX regularly emits an aura that will cause any organic creature to move towards and float around 4 meters above the ground while rotating around SCP-XXXX, using it as an axis. The entities affected are classified as SCP-XXXX-1. The aura SCP-XXXX emits stretches for ██ meters. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1, after reaching the four-meter height mark, will begin to lose visible consciousness and cease all communication with the un-affected, while making movements with their mouths, but not producing any sound. All recorded instances of SCP-XXXX-1 to date have had their eyeballs pulled out of their sockets by an unknown force and added to the floating cluster. All bleeding caused by the removal of their eyeballs will be stopped by the unknown force. This will only occur while SCP-XXXX is in its semi-transparent form. Due to the fact that SCP-XXXX immobilizes anyone in a ██ radius of it, no one has come close enough to touch or see any details on or inside SCP-XXXX. With the use of a remote-controlled drone with a mounted camera, the entity's surface has been thoroughly inspected. See test log A below.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was found on ██/██/07, by a pecan farmer in a nearby town named [REDACTED], located in New Mexico. The individual who found SCP-XXXX, named Orlando ████, was interviewed, administered Class-C amnestics, and relocated to a new town along with the rest of the residents of the nearby town. The foundation moved in to contain the entity, losing [REDACTED] staff members in the process, all of which became instances of SCP-XXXX-1.

Incident 13-M, ██/08/12:

During Incident 13-M, SCP-XXXX stopped affecting all instances of SCP-XXXX-1 and started to move at roughly 0.4 meters per second, heading North-East. The instances of SCP-XXXX-1, now un-affected and without eyes, entered a stage of panic and started to writhe around on the floor clutching their faces. Once personnel was able to reach them, each one of the un-affected instances of SCP-XXXX-1 had bled out from their eye-sockets. The on-site staff monitoring SCP-XXXX immediately started to move the portable fences and walls stationed in and around Site-121 to fit SCP-XXXX's new location. It is unknown why SCP-XXXX started to move out of its previous location, but it has never left the vicinity of the farm.

Dr. Knightly: Please identify yourself.

Orlando: Uh… My name is Orlando. Um, why am I here?

Dr. Knightly: Full name, please.

Orlando: Oh, uh, sorry. Orlando ████. Can you tell me why I’m here?

Dr: Knightly: *Looks at notebook* I need you to tell me everything you saw before the police arrived.

Orlando: Uh, There was this metal ball… thing floating above my farm. I went back inside my house and called the police, and when I came back out, instead of a ball there were a bunch of eyeballs! It gave me the fu█████ heebie-jeebies!

Dr. Knightly: …And what type of eyeballs were they? What did they look like?

Orlando: How the fu██ am I supposed to know!? I didn’t go up and inspect it like I’m fu█████ Sherlock Holmes. Hey… what are you guys gonna do to my farm? Am I gonna get to go back home?

Dr. Knightly: Rest assured Mr.████, we’ll have you relocated to a new home.

Orlando: What the fu██! I don’t want a new home!

Dr. Knightly: Sir, please calm down.

Orlando: Fu██ you! Fu██ whoever is watching me through that one-way mirror! Fu██ those military lookin’ ass people who took over my farm!

Test A - ██/09/12

Subject: A drone with a camera equipped.
Procedure: Dr. Knightly piloted the drone up to SCP-XXXX and inspected its surface.
Results: At the time of the test, SCP-XXXX was in its cluster of eyeballs form. Once the drone came within 2m of the entity, all of the visible eyeballs in the cluster turned towards the drone and followed wherever Dr. Knightly was behind the viewing screen. Once the drone got close enough to see the surface of the entity, Dr. Knightly noted that a few of the eyeballs had feline, canine, amphibious, and reptile likeness.

Test B - ██/09/12

Subject: A drone with a camera and a metal rod strapped onto it.
Procedure: Dr. Knightly flew the drone nearby one instance of SCP-XXXX-1 and proceeded to push it out of rotation.
Results: The instance of SCP-XXXX-1 slowly moved back into the position it was in before the test.

Test C - ██/011/12

Subject: D-149, who has a prosthetic eyeball that allows artificial vision.
Procedure: D-149 was moved across the threshold and undergoes the process of becoming an SCP-XXXX-1.
Results: D-149 has only the organic eyeball removed from his skull, while the artificial bionic eyeball ceases to function and is pushed out of D-149's skull onto the ground.

Test D - ██/01/13

Subject: D-886, who was blind since birth.
Procedure: D-886 was guided towards SCP-XXXX and was instructed to move forward until told otherwise.

+ LEVEL 2 CLEARANCE REQUIRED

7:00 pm ██/██/14: Site staff had recorded no movement from or changes of the appearance of SCP-XXXX-1 earlier in the day. During a routine drone check at 7 pm, SCP-XXXX lashed out at the drone with a tendril-like growth sprouting from the backside of one of the larger eyeballs. Nothing else was recorded before the drone's camera was disabled. Site staff immediately sent two weaponized drones into the vicinity of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX reached out to a drone in a gentle manner but quickly recoiled when the tendril was sliced by the drone's propeller. This sent SCP-XXXX into an enraged state, where it moved at roughly 3 meters per second. ██ members of the staff were transformed into SCP-XXXX-1, except instead of removing their eyes, as per normal behavior, SCP-XXXX reached down the throats of each SCP-XXXX-1 with its tendrils for 6-7 seconds, before dropping them or propelling them into another SCP-XXXX-1 instance. These SCP-XXXX-1 instances were carried back to a safe zone by the unmanned vehicles and were put under medical care. Within 10 minutes all ██ affected members of staff drowned due to their lungs filled with pus and other unidentified liquids.
