Item #: SCP-████
Object Class: [REDACTED]
Special Containment Procedures:[REDACTED]
Description: [REDACTED]
Item #: SCP-4107
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4107 is to be kept in a 10x10x10 meter lead-lined glass containment cell at all times. Each day at 1900 hours, SCP-4107 is to be escorted to an identical outdoor cell by four (4) D Class personnel. At 0700 hours, it is to be escorted back to its indoor cell by four (4) D Class personnel.
No less than five (5) thermometers are to be attached to SCP-4107’s indoor and outdoor containment cells at all times. If any thermometers are to malfunction, SCP-4107 is to be escorted to the second containment cell immediately, and all thermometers are to be replaced. If any thermometers are to read above 90° C or below -40° C, SCP-4107 is to be escorted to the second containment cell, until thermometers detect a suitable temperature to progress.
No personnel are to open either of SCP-4107’s containment cells, unless given permission to do so by Dr. Amelia Potter.
Description: SCP-4107 was recovered in 20██. It was found in the center of an iceberg in the Arctic Ocean, and the ice was reported to seem to be growing around it. After SCP-4107 was recovered, researchers reported feeling immense heat from it almost immediately.
SCP-4107 is a six (6) meter tall humaniod with electronic implants around the arms, legs, and chest area. It is unknown what these implants are made of. SCP-4107 has an abnormally large head, which is disproportionate to the rest of its body. Researchers have noted that it looks similar to “Gray Aliens”, but it is to be noted that it does not have any facial features. SCP-4107 has no regular body temperature, but rather fluctuates between different temperatures depending on if there is direct sunlight/moonlight touching it.
Should SCP-4107 be exposed to direct natural ultraviolet light, such as that of the sun, the surrounding temperature within its immediate proximity increases to higher degrees, estimated +███° per hour. Artificial light does not trigger this effect. However, in environments lacking direct exposure to this stimulus, the temperature decreases at a similar rate. This effect ceases upon SCP-4107's introduction into a new, seperate environment with completely different stimuli.
SCP-4107 shows no aggression and has never attacked personnel. In fact, it even appears to show signs of happiness or affection when personnel are close to it.
Addendum 4107-01: Although this SCP-4107 is not aggressive or violent in any way, it is important to note that that does not make it any less dangerous. If it is not watched extremely carefully, it will easily be able to escape containment, and there would be nothing we could do to stop it.
Log 001 - Amelia Potter
After ten years at the Foundation, Dr. █████ has finally given me an SCP that I have full responsibility over! I decided to document my experience on this voice recorder, so I’ll have some sort of legacy. Anyways, this SCP is definitely one of the more interesting ones that the Foundation has come across, that’s for sure. Well, I don’t know… maybe I’m just saying that because it’s mine. Well, Dr. █████ said that one of my responsibilities will be to fill out an entry for it. I’m gonna get on that. End Log.
Log 002 - Amelia Potter
As it turns out, writing those entries are pretty damn easy. All I really had to do was copy down what they told me, and bam! But in all seriousness, I do believe that this is an extremely dangerous SCP. I can’t let down Dr. █████. Not after all he’s done for me. If 4107 were to escape, it would all be my fault, and after he got me this job, and gave me the honor of being in charge of one of these creatures, I can’t let him down. End Log.
Log 003 - Amelia Potter
Dr. █████ informed me yesterday that my logs would be reviewed from now on. From this point forward, these logs will only be used for research. So, uh.. Day one of studying SCP-4107. Temperatures in containment cell 001 have been steadily dropping at about twelve degrees Celsius per hour. It is currently measured at, uh… thirteen degrees. Haha, cool. Um, *ahem* SCP-4107 is scheduled to move to containment cell 002 in three hours. Everything seems stable at the moment, and I’ll go ahead and give an ‘ok’ in advance to move it. End Log.
Log 004 - Amelia Potter
Last night, during movement of SCP-4107, D-8562 stepped away from SCP-4107 because it was “Too cold.” After stepping away, 4107 tried to follow him, causing D-8562 to panic. I wasn’t personally there, but the other D-Class said it was “Like something out of Tom & Jerry.” After Dr. █████ was informed of this, D-8562 was… he was, uh, terminated. Due to interference of duties. Um, End Log.
Log 005 - Amelia Potter
There were no difficulties during the movement of SCP-4107 last night, after D-8562 was replaced. So far, I would like to report that handling 4107 has been easier than expected. I know that I’m supposed to keep this professional, and I know that you’re listening to this, but when you asked me how I’d feel being - well - basically in charge of an SCP, I thought you were just kidding around. That if I had said “Oh yeah! Definitely!” You’d just say, “Haha, wow, really? I was just kidding you know.” But it just means so much to me that you’d trust me with something like this. Thanks. End Log.
Log 006 - Amelia Potter
I have been informed by my Administrator that we will be moving SCP-4107 to Site-██ on █/██. That means that I’ll have to move my office.. again.. but hey, it’s not that bad. We are traveling with ten armed guards if 4107 breaches containment, and we even have a special cell for moving that can let in or block out sunlight. I’m personally excited to go see the new Site, but- Well.. I’m going to have to say goodbye to Dr. █████. I’m not going to do it over my logs, so if you’re listening right now, and I haven’t seen you yet, just know that I’ll see you soon! End Log.
Log 007 - Amelia Potter
That happened faster than I thought it would. It turned out that Dr. █████ was on leave when I made the visit to his office, so I guess that my goodbye really was over the logs. Anyways, our containment cell for 4107 is definitely not ideal, but it will do for the distance we have to go. Just as long there aren’t too many bumps in the road, we’ll be fine. Hopefully, you’ll be hearing from me next at Site-██! End Log.
Log 008 - Amelia Potter
I-I don’t know what to do. SCP-4107 e-escaped containment earlier today. I don’t know w-what happened, I don’t remember… O-okay.. Okay. *Ahem* SCP-4107 escaped containment while being escorted to Site-██. I… I don’t remember what happened, all I know is that the vehicle tilted, and when I was thrown from it, I was knocked out. It looks like the vehicle exploded, and I… I t-think… That I’m the o-only survivor. SCP-4107 is nowhere in sight, but I know it’s out there. Somewhere. I can feel it. Temperatures are extremely high, I don’t know the exact temperature, but it’s hot. I’m going to try and find.. something. Some kind of civilization. End Log.
Log 009 - Amelia Potter
I’m in the middle of f-fucking nowhere. There’s no cities, no towns, and of course I can’t find any fucking w-water. It’s still hot though, an all-time high as far as I’m concerned. I’ve cut off the sleeves of my shirt and the pant legs off of my jeans, but I don’t think it helped very much. I’ve found at least three spots where there should be water, like a d-dry pond, or a river bed, but that d-damn monster is evaporating everything. I’m going to try and sleep now, hopefully someone finds me soon. End Log.
Log 010 - Amelia Potter
…I slept for, maybe four hours… I couldn’t sleep, I just need a drink. Something. It’s so dry… I remember when we were driving through here, I could see so many trees. So much life. But, all of that dried up and burned. I wish Dr. █████ never offered me this job… I just wish I could still be back with… everyone. Just so I wasn’t so. Fucking. Alone.
Log 011 - Amelia Potter
Well. The battery is running low… I’ve heard no sign of people coming, it’s as if they just… forgot about me. They wouldn’t do that, right? Dr. █████ wouldn’t let them forget, would he? Is it my fault? He might not even know I’m gone. I never got to say goodbye… Well, I guess I’ll start walking. I don’t know which way Site-██ is, so I’ll go… wherever it’s colder. I’ll see you soon. End Log.
Log 012 - Amelia Potter
…It’s… Just… So… Hot…
Addendum ████-01: Upon the breach and escape of SCP-████ on █/██/20██, and due to the insistence of Dr. █████, all data regarding SCP-████ has been destroyed.
