Description: SCP-XXXX are two scrolls that are nearly identical, SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are two scrolls that were recovered from a cellar that originated from the roman era. SCP-XXXX has two states, rift state and comprehension state.

Both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2

Rift State:

It has been viewed to have anomalous properties involving rifts in space time. When thrown, SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 fly straight to the nearest wall, reaching speeds of 300 mph, without damaging anything they come in contact with. Both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 will attatch to a wall, unrolling themselves and revealing an oblong shaped portal. If both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are in the rift state, then they will connect, causing you to walk through SCP-XXXX-1 and come out of SCP-XXXX-2. They can re-roll into their closed position if taken off the wall manually or the being who threw SCP-XXXX-1 or SCP-XXXX-2 enacts a sound of body percussion, such as snapping or clapping. This will cause SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 to fly into the users hands.

Many tests have been run on the class D personnel, Devin B. Devin B. is to be set in the Site-19 testing facility for being constantly monitored after being exposed to the rift of SCP-XXXX. No side effects were given after 24 hours.

The class D personnel is to be given the scrolls to experiment with while under supervision for 3 hours per day.

Comprehension State:

When unrolled manually, the scrolls are readable and depict a two faced man from the roman era on the wooden handles. Both are signed as dʒeɪnəs, that translates to "Janus" the roman god of beginnings and transitions. Both scrolls have been observed to change the words, hand writing, dialects and ink, dependent of who/what goes through the portals (see scroll entries).
