Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3668 is to be contained in a 50cm x 50cm x 50cm bulletproof glass container inside a 5m x 5m x 5m concrete containment cell. At no time is any living organism allowed inside the cell unless permitted by an O5 council member for testing.
SCP-3668 on a concrete floor
Description: SCP-3668 is a 12 hour gold plated aluminium pocket watch, made in the year 19██ by █████████ in France, with a diameter of 5cm and weighing approximately 70g. Attached to the object is a beaded aluminium chain, also gold plated. SCP-3668 seems to be following Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and is observed to be missing a glass cover exposing both the minute hand and the hour hand. Changing the time of the clock seems to alternate time within an area of approximately 50m, see Addendum 3668-O and Addendum 3668-2 for more information.
When a living organism comes into contact with SCP-3668, SCP-3668 is observed to wrap its chain around a limb of the subject, the subject becomes sentient if not already and is able to speak french fluently. The subject is given the classification of SCP-3668-A
SCP-3668-A is able to reverse the time on the clock which reverses the time of the selected area by the amount of time chosen by SCP-3668-A. It must be noted that SCP-3668-A can only rewind 24 hours and can not fast forward time. SCP-3668-A recalls all memories of what happened before the rewind and is able to learn from those experiences, however, other individuals in the selected area do not recall anything that happened after the rewind has taken place. It is also hypothesized that every time SCP-3668 is used, damages to the skeletal system of SCP-3668-A ocurrs. The cause of this anomaly is unknown, further testing is required.
If at anytime a subject is to come in contact with SCP-3668 without O5 council approval, the subject is to be terminated immediately and have the brain removed so that SCP-3668 can be safely removed and recontained.
Addendum 3668-O: SCP-3668 was found on the arm of a Chaos Insurgency officer that had infiltrated Site ██ with another 5 Chaos Insurgency personnel. This incident lead to 12 total deaths and 2 Class-D escapes, see the incident report for more information. The Chaos Insurgency officer and a Chaos Insurgency guard were terminated and it is presumed that all Chaos Insurgency Personnel unaccounted for and the 2 Class-D Personnel have escaped.
Personnel within a 50m area were unable to recall most events due to SCP-3668-A. Personnel were also unable to remove SCP-3668 from SCP-3668-A. SCP-3668-A was sent to be incinerated with SCP-3669, however SCP-3668 was unaffected and was retrieved then contained at Site ██.
Addendum 3668-1: On ██/██/██ Dr.█████ approved a request to test the effects of SCP-3668 on Class-D Personnel. It is unknown what happened during this experiment. The Class-D Personnel, D-████, was found dead with several gunshot wounds around 3 km away from Site ██. D-████ was also observed to have their skeletal structure severely damaged, it is hypothesized that everytime SCP-3668 is used it causes damage to the system; further testing is required. SCP-3668 was upgraded to Object Class: Euclid after this incident and no one is to go near SCP-3668 without the approval of an O5 council member.
Addendum 3668-2: On ██/██/██ O5-██████ approved a request of testing effects of SCP-3668 on other life forms, however it was ordered to do the experiment in Site ██ in a room with a minimum size of 70m x 70m x 20m. A wild deer was placed near SCP-3668. The subject immediately headed for the watch. Subject became sentient after having the watch's chain wrap around its arm. Subject was able to speak fluently in french and when a translator was called in the subject was observed to be constantly complaining. Subject was terminated shortly after following by an X-Ray. The subject appears to have taken no skeletal damage due to it not using SCP-3668. SCP-3668 was recontained at Site ██.
