Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an enclosed space without any windows or other apertures in which it can view the outside world. SCP-XXXX will be fed exactly twenty (20) grams of nutritional sustenance a day. Delivery of food is to take place via a secure sluice-like hatch which can be opened remotely from outside the enclosure. No staff may be permitted inside the enclosure without the permission of a staff member with level 3 clearance or higher. No staff with level 4 clearance or higher may enter the enclosure under any circumstances. If it is suspected that SCP-XXXX has seen or come in contact with any living being at least three (3) times larger than itself SCP-XXXX's food supply must be cut for seven days.
Description: SCP-XXXX, at first glance, seems to be a large arachnid. The specimen's cephalothorax is approximately 15 cm in diameter and is entirely devoid of hair of any kind. The specimen's opisthosoma is at first only about 5 cm in diameter but as the subject ingests more than the specified amount of nutrition it will start to swell. If SCP-XXXX is continually overfed the swelling will increase in tandem with the amount of sustenance provided until two spinnerets have completely emerged from the abdomen. Once this has occurred SCP-XXXX will attempt to locate any living being at least three times it's size. When SCP-XXXX finds a creature fitting this description it will withdraw to a safe location and start to empty it's abdomen and using the contained substance to fabricate a host henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. When finished, SCP-XXXX-1 will look like an identical copy of the sought out creature. SCP-XXXX will then enter the host through a flap in the neck which it will then seal from the inside. Once SCP-XXXX has entered SCP-XXXX-1 it will control it presumably from it's head. If SCP-XXXX-1 is based on a human, the host will not be able to communicate via language although simple grunts and similar noises have been observed.
