Description: SCP-5692 is a sapient Rhode Island Red Hen capable of speech, intelligent thought, and practicing medicine. SCP-5692 expresses a desire to be called "Dogter Chiggin" and records show that prior to containment, all letters and signatures with it's clientele use the alias. SCP-5692 was first noticed by foundation personnel after a field agent reported stories from locals of ██████, Mexico discussing about a ██████ ██████. When further investigated, SCP-5692 was found in an abandoned warehouse with medical equipment.
SCP-5692 writes and pronounces words incorrectly, similar to that of a child, despite confirming during interviews that it has the knowledge to do so. SCP-5692 also displays extensive knowledge of 19th century politics as well as claims to have fought in the Texas War of Independence and the Civil War. When foundation researchers doubted this claim, SCP-5692 suggested that field agents go to the coordinates of [REDACTED] where he supposedly fought in the battle of ███ ███████ with Sam Houston. Once field agents arrived at the destination, they discovered an early 19th century cage with bandages and a bone-saw.
SCP-5692 claims to have no knowledge as to how or by whom it was created. SCP-5692 claims it's earliest memory being on a plantation in █████████ in the early 1800s. SCP-5692 claims to have been practicing medicine since 182█ with an elderly African woman living on the plantation as it's first patient.

<Begin Log>
Dr. ██████: Hello SCP-5692, how are you feeling today?
SCP-5692: I prefer the name Doctor Chicken, thank you. Other than that, I am fine. Could be warmer in here.
Dr. ██████: I'm sorry but I cannot refer to you as that.
SCP-5692: Oh well.
Dr. ██████: Clears throat So let's talk about you, when you were born specifically. And how you know what you know.
SCP-5692: Well, I honestly have no clue. The earliest thing I remember is I was in this small little chicken coop in the ████████ Plantation in █████████ in 181█.
Dr. ██████: Interesting, do you remember when you first operated?
SCP-5692: Well, I think it was in 18██. It was this elderly slave woman named ███████.
Dr. ██████: Writes on clipboard That's very interesting. Thanks for being so forthcoming with this information. If there's anything we can do to help, just ask.
SCP-5692: Actually, I do have one thing. These rodents don't help me perfect my craft. Could I have some human patients?
Dr. ██████: I'll see what I can do.

Closing Statement: SCP-5692's request for human subjects is still pending approval.
