Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8819 should be kept in a 5x5 dark grey square room on site jared123outpost and under no circumstances should be touched or moved unless the person has level 2 security clearance(for research testing). SCP-8819 should be monitored every 3-4 hours for any changes in behavior. A 5x5 door should be made to have a highly durable metal which should be at least 15 inches thick.
Description: SCP-8819 is a 6 inch golden crown with lion logos on it, and it also has these algormerithic marks on it too. Anomalous effects start happening when a subject comes into close proximity to SCP-8819 (which was recorded to be 5 feet), the subjects who come close to SCP-8819 begin to have an insensible urge to wear SCP-8819 (although they can fight it very often), it also appears that SCP-8819 will change its shape to fit on the user's head when putting it on, and when they do put SCP-8819 on, he/her will immediately have full confidence in his/her whole body and will immediately have these “abilities”, one of these abilities are to turn into a Panthera leo (lion) and be able to attack anything at high speeds(recorded 80 mph) faster than a regular Panthera leo. And another anomalous ability is super strength, the subject will be able to move up to 40 tons. When the subject who wears SCP-8819 is about to attack he/she will spawn golden armor on their arm and chest and create a golden sword out of nowhere which is about 40 inches in diameter and is recorded to be able to stand against most firearms and explosives although it will eventually get damaged, the armor on the subject appears to be indestructible and cannot get damaged or scratched. When the subject is done attacking, the armor will begin to disappear into the air and the sword will too(which takes up to 5 seconds). The subject's mind is highly affected when wearing SCP-8819 by which they would begin to feel energized and more focused on themselves and the subject will begin to talk like he/she is better than everyone else (and will begin calling them words like “peasant”) and will act a bit more violent than usual, and It is also shown that the subject will have heart attacks if they don't call down often, and they might die if it keeps going on. When the subject takes off SCP-8819 he/she will immediately start acting like themselves again and no anomalous effects will begin happening to them, but when the subject takes off SCP-8819, SCP-8819 after 20 seconds of not being worn, will begin to slowly levitate to their last owner if they're still in the area, and will continue doing this unless it: 1. Gets caught by someone else and gets worn, 2. Find its owner and hovers back onto their heads, or 3. The owner dies or begins to die, and which SCP-8819 will then hover back onto the last place it was at. Observes who have seen SCP-8819 hover have said that they report seeing a grey shadowy figure carrying it instead of it hovering, this will be tested on soon.
Origin: agents found SCP-8819 on auction online for 50$, and when agents heard rumors about it killing the last owner they bought it online. Agents also got the autopsy report and tested SCP-8819 on subjects revealing its anomalies. Where SCP-8819 was originated from is unknown but is most likely not from South America.
