Item #: SCP-5274
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Because of SCP-5274's many states, containment procedures vary. When it's in its regular car state, it is locked in a containment cell measuring 10 m x 10 m x 5m. It must also be supplied with a new course for it to go around in.
Every 2 weeks, it wants a new course to play with, or else it will start to get noticeably upset. when this happens, SCP-5274 gets escorted to a new cell measuring 5 m x 5 m x 5 m. When SCP-5724 is in this cell, 1 D-class personnel (with a security guard watching for obvious reasons) must build a new course.
A camera must also be placed in each cell but only turned on during hourly checks to see if its form has changed. If SCP-5274 has changed,
When SCP-5274 is in its motorcycle state, its course must be switched to be more suitable for a motorcycle.
When SCP-5274 is in its drone state, Its course must be switched out for a professional drone racing course.
When SCP-5274 is in its monster truck state, its course must be switched to a model size "demolition derby" arena. In the arena, it must have electric toy cars for the monster truck toy to keep it entertained.
When SCP-5274 is in its toy mech state, it must be moved to a new containment site. The containment site in question is measured 20 m x 20 m x 50 m. Inside the containment cell is 200 toy army soldiers that must be re-supplied every time the mech shoots them out. The containment cell is also a large elaborate parkour course. In order to re-supply the army soldiers, 3 D-class personnel must enter with one with bulletproof vests to distract SCP-5274 and the other 2 to put the toy army soldiers in. SCP-5274 is able to destroy 100 army soldiers in a span of 10 days. The containment site itself is made of reinforced concrete.
When SCP-5274 is in its toy plane state, the course must be replaced with a course with 2m tall hoops going around the room.
When SCP-5274 is in its lego figure state, the course must be replaced with a lego obstacle course, while the assigned D-class is building the set, SCP-5274 must be contained in a small safe. The construction of the lego obstacle course must take no more than 2 days.
When SCP-5274 is in its toy robot dog state, it is permitted to roam the facility. SCP-5274, when in said state, poses no threat to the foundation and may interact with staff. It is enforced that staff members of the facility must ignore SCP-5724 unless it tries to interact with them. If this happens, staff may acknowledge it to not frustrate it.
When SCP-5274 is in its [DATA EXPUNGED], It must be moved to an underground facility 50 m below ground. The containment facility must be armed with 10 security officers. SCP-5274 must be fully submerged in hydrochloric acid to "help" prevent containment breaches.
Each course design must be approved by at least 3 researchers and 1 site director. The course must be made of either wood, metal, or plastic with a budget of no more than $200.
Description: SCP-5274 is a toy car. It is believed to be sentient and has an emotional capacity similar to a dog. It does not need any maintenance other than a new course to play with every 2 weeks. When it changes mood, the car begins to "shift" into other toys. But when it gets over with whatever mood change it goes through, It changes back into the toy car.
SCP-5724 loves intense courses and always likes a challenge. The course material is also very important to SCP-5274. It enjoys metal, plastic, or wood courses the best. It also prefers the material to be different from its previous course for each new one.
SCP-5724 only changes form when no person, animal, video devices, or anomalous item (Still being held up for debate, see Addendum SCP-5724-3) is viewing. It can still feel different moods when it is watched but will only change form when it is stopped being watched. It is still unknown how the toy manages to change form.
The corresponding toy to its mood is as followed.
| Mood | Toy |
|---|---|
| Over-joyed | Toy Motercycle |
| Sad | Small toy drone |
| Scared | Toy monster-truck |
| Goofy | Toy Mech (capable of firing real bullets and will do so at any bystanders) |
| Confused | Toy plane (capable of flying. It is debate whether or not it is flying by using properties of a real plane or controlling the air around it) |
| Frustrated | Lego figure (able to walk around) |
| Embaressed | Toy dog |
| Angry | [DATA REDACTED] |
When SCP-5274 feels numerous emotions at once, it begins to look distressed but is able to calm itself down quickly. Note that these moods can last from 2 to 30 weeks. And its care state usually lasts about 3 months.
Addendum: 5274-1 During a containment breach at the housed site, SCP-5274 began spazzing out. It malfunctioned for about 1 week before turning back into its normal state. The cause of this incident is to be believed that SCP-5724 began feeling numerous emotions and couldn't handle calming down.
Addendum: 5274-2 When SCP-5274 was in its toy dog state, Dr. Scarlet Brian, a researcher at the site, "pulled a prank" on SCP-5274 resulting in 14 deaths. Dr. Brian was sent for immediate termination. This also caused more restrictions when SCP-5274 is in its dog-like state. Staff are no longer allowed to interact with SCP-5274 when in said state.
Addendum: 5274-3 During a containment breach at Site-██, SCP-5724 and SCP-131 were placed into the same containment cell. SCP-5724 must have felt confused or scared in the cell but it did not turn into its Toy Monster-truck or toy plane form. After the containment breach and SCP-5274 was placed back into its cell, it immediately changed into a Toy-monster Truck It is believed that SCP-131 was observing SCP-5274 and would not change form.
