Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to stay inside the facility it was originally discovered in, no extensions are to be added to SCP-XXXX, gas masks and hazmat outfits are to be worn within the containment area at all times. No damage to any of SCP-XXXX's systems is to ever occur.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a ventilation system, designed by █████, a local company. it is unclear if the sentience was originally intended or if it developed later.
SCP-XXXX communicates by using infra-sound generated by it's fans and vents to vibrate the eardrum, tests have failed to provide if SCP-XXXX can use this to match the resonant frequency of other organs, to causing those organs to malfunction. It's possible SCP-XXXX can do so, but may also not be aware of this possibility, in this case no personnel is to provide this idea to SCP-XXXX
The "brain" of SCP-XXXX is located in the [REDACTED] within the facility, nothing visually is anomalous about it, and personnel have looked inside to see it's a perfectly functional system, It's been found any extension or additions to the system can be 'assimilated' into SCP-XXXX, it can also generate new vents to seek out any nearby ventilation systems, this process has never been witnessed and it's possible SCP-XXXX can instantaneously generate new vents.
It has full control over it's systems and is able to manipulate the air inside it's vents, heating it up or converting it to other gases, anything SCP-XXXX outputs SCP-XXXX is immune to it's effects, it's never been demonstrated if it can change the air into a liquid or other substances, though occasionally it has created particulates in the air such as dust. One interaction with SCP-████ showed it can even create sentient creatures that are gas like, though the created body was in full control of SCP-████
Discovery: 19██, several employees were diagnosed with psychosis, the foundation took note of this from the accounts giving evidence to an anomaly relating to the ventilation system, a Mobile Task Force was sent in, one of the members stayed behind, when questioned later they didn't give clear reasons
The SCP-XXXX was discovered to be the ventilation system, upon this discovery the foundation closed the building, sending back in the Task Force, with a interrogator to question the SCP to discern it's motives

Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX released the gas, and from tests, it's determined that the gas released was composed of a mixture of Hydrogen Sulfide and Carbon Dioxide, later the area was repaired of the resulting damage, the bodies were retrieved later.
SCP-XXXX's containment was restricted further and SCP-XXXX's control unit was relocated into the foundation, and attempts to interrogate █████ from the mobile task force were made later, as it was decerned he was working with SCP-XXXX.

Stricter containment and relocation SCP-XXXX back to the original facility have been requested and enacted, the facility is now designated as Area-██. Higher ranks of personnel are to be used for further questioning of either ██████ or SCP-XXXX, and they must stay separated at all times.
