Incident 999-A

Item: SCP-999

Object Class: Safe Neutralized

In the date _ /_ /_ at Site 19, SCP-999 was spotted entering SCP-049's containment cell during the delivery of the corpse of a deseased mammal.

Reason for this, was failure of one member of security personel to close SCP-999's containment cell, he was later punished for his mistake, the details will be clarified at the end of the report.

SCP-999 was then seen jumping against SCP-049, startling both SCP-049 and the staff member.
It was thought by researchers that SCP-999 might have confused SCP-049 with a staff member.

SCP-999 after coming into contact with SCP-049 began melting into a puddle of an unknown orange liquid resembling a more liquid consistency of SCP-999's previous
bodily consistency.

As SCP-999 melted he let out a loud, sad screech, making the personel around the area, excluding SCP-049 suddenly burst into tears.

SCP-049 took this oportunity to kill Staff member Jenny, attempting to create another instance of SCP-049-2.
The instance of SCP-049-2 was later terminated.

After the strange liquid was removed from SCP-049's containment cell, renamed SCP-999-A, it was discovered by researcher Dan Parivok that this strange fluid had an opposite reaction of what SCP-999 did, making the person that touched it instead feel extreme saddness, making the individual that touched it taking their own life due to depression.

Tests are pending for SCP-999-A.

The reason behind why SCP-999 melted is currently unknown, though it is believed that it is due to SCP-049 seize the bodily functions of SCP-999.

The punishment that the security personel suffered was having to participate in an exploration to SCP-093, but he happened to get terminated whilst trying to escape SCP-093.

End of report.
