Cell is to remain closed until approximately 6:30am each morning. Shall this not take place site of location must go into lockdown immediately until time constraints are met.
Description:
SCP - 5999 or commonly called “The Slumber-Jack” is a large homo-sapien, male of gender, approximately 195cm in height and 235 kilograms in weight, with no one look it appears different to everyone who views it, however all those who see it have described a large axe strapped to it’s back. Originally located at Mt. Ruapehu, north island, New Zealand.
By day SCP - 5999 is friendly of manner towards anyone it comes into contact with, gladly conversing and debating with any people it has met, often offering help towards the person whether emotion support and or physical assistance. Impervious to any form of injury or limit of strength (so far recorded by the foundation) SCP - 5999 is often used by the organisation to carry out strenuous tasks otherwise deemed unsafe for security personnel eg. containing another subject. Allowed to exit it’s cell provided it is accompanied by security personnel to be used for help, Staff must keep track of it’s whereabouts at all times to prevent a possible containment breach.
During night if SCP - 5999 is contained correctly it will remain asleep until morning with no known complications. Should SCP - 5999 not be contained by provided time constraints it is EXTREMELY hostile towards anyone it comes into contact with, having the intent to kill. Only one instance of this has ever been recorded, with the body of a civilian found dismembered near the location of SCP - 5999 before it’s capture. The body was found by security personnel on the ground with all bodily parts placed out in an organised manner, fingers next to fingers, arms next to arms etc. It is presumed subject performed this task with the mentioned axe it carries, however no further evidence provides an explanation. Being oblivious to injury there is no known method of stopping SCP - 5999 should it happen to not meet time restrictions.
Addendum:
Although not much is currently known about the complete origin of SCP - 5999 it was reported by locals in the area of its discovery in 1937. Which when questioned about the “The Slumber-Jack” all those who provided information on the subject described it as a myth in order to keep anyone who may be out late at night in the area, particularly children, inside. However there had been multiple reports of missing people since European settlement in the area to which no one fully understood. All previous written information on the subject created by civilians has been lost to unknown reasons. Interviews with subject to potentially regather this information has not proved useful, the subject always changing topic as if to avoid being questioned about this.
