It’s been probably, what? 5+ years? since I tried to do much with SCP. Guess I’m back and interested in trying to write some SCPs again. Hopefully my ideas will be better than they were last time…

I work with a lot of construction and am studying to eventually work on video games instead, so I’m trying to work with concepts that I’m decently knowledgeable with. However I’m not too good at the whole ‘creepy’ concept, so I (personally) don’t think any of my ideas are very strong. I’ll at least use this sandbox page to write concepts down. Hopefully one or two will become good enough to turn into drafts eventually.

A lot of this is notes to myself, as well as just rambling thoughts onto the page, so don’t expect anything stellar.

Pump Truck

HIGH CONCEPT: A pump truck that, which, while pumping, if it doesn’t receive the correct material (runs out of concrete,) uses the surrounding materials to compensate. This includes rocks in the ground, water in the air and surrounding bodies (rapid dehydration fo human cells?) and etc.

This is an idea I’ve had for like 3 years, but I feel like the ‘proximity allocation of materials’ isn’t very grounded, and the audeince wont be able to relate with it well. I like the creep factor of the liquid being sucked out of someone’s body, but I don’t have a strong thing to attach it to. I’ll keep working on.

Containment - Aircraft

HIGH CONCEPT: A Keter or Euclid entity that must be suspended at least 1 km above the earths surface constantly. A cargo aircraft is used to suspend the object there.

I feel like a bizarre containment like this would make for a good hook for the reader, but the fuel and equipment cost of keeping an aircraft permanently in the air is ridiculous, even for a fictional setting.
Also don’t have a concept for the object itself. :/
