SCP-XXXX-1 is to be kept in a 1x1 meter steel box coated with a 80% cotton 20% polyester fabric blend. The exact blend is needed in order to cushion SCP-XXXX-1 to prevent its hole from widening.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a pocket dimension entered through SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 is a large hole in a piece of drywall. There is a constant squeaking sound which has been reported to give personnel inside of SCP-XXXX a sense of unease and a feeling that they are not supposed to be inside of SCP-XXXX. There is no known ceiling and no known walls of SCP-XXXX, the ground resembles cement. SCP-XXXX is completely dark except for a large tree (SCP-XXXX-2) in the center which emits small amounts of light. It is unknown how the tree has grown in such harsh conditions but the current hypothesis is that the tree isn't a tree at all. SCP-XXXX-2 is the center of gravity in SCP-XXXX, and therefore no exploration of the outer regions is possible. SCP-XXXX-2 Resembles a pine tree but is soft to the touch. Any artificial light brought into SCP-XXXX is severely weakened and only illuminates an estimates one decimetre in front of it.
SCP-XXXX-A is a shadow-like entity and looks like a child around the age of 10. It has glowing brown eyes. It has been documented to gently caress the arms of explorers and whispers into their ears. When recorded, SCP-XXXX-A never whispers anything of apparent meaning but it still deeply disturbs the original listener. Several D-Class members sent into SCP-XXXX have experienced extreme paranoia after visiting due to SCP-XXXX-A. When SCP-XXXX-A is around humans for more than ten minutes at a time, it will become aggravated and attempt to tear apart all foreign objects in SCP-XXXX with its nails. It's kill rate is 88% with most of the victims dying before they could escape.

The following is the transcription of an audio recording of two D-Class personnel: (D-84 & D-79) entering SCP-XXXX for the first time.
D-79: "We are currently entering SCP-XXXX. We've been told to stay in here for 10 minutes and then to evacuate."
*D-84 and D-79 enter SCP-XXXX through SCP-XXXX-1*
D-79: "Wow it's dark in here, turn on your light."
*Both D-84 and D-79 turn on their flashlights*
D-84: "Do they need new batteries or something?"
D-79: "No, they're brand new."
D-84: "Huh."

*SCP-XXXX-A gently scratches D-84's forearm*
D-84: "What was that? Why did you touch me like that?"
D-79: "What do you mean?"
SCP-XXXX-A: *whispering* "There is nothing…"
D-84: "Did you hear that?"
D-79: "Hear what?"
D-84: *Breathing heavily* "Never mind, let's just check out this tree."
D-79: "It feels soft- what?"
D-84: "Please, we have to go. I feel like I'm being watched."
D-79: "If we leave now we'll be terminated."
*SCP-XXXX-A scratches D-79's forearm*
D-79: "Ouch! What'd you do that for?"
D-84: "Did you feel it too?"
D-79: "Stop playing mind games with me I kno-"
*D-84 and D-79 are silenced*
D-84: *whispering* "Do you see that?"
D-79: *whispering* "Of course I do."
SCP-XXXX-A: *whispering* "Go beyond, become pure."
*D-84 and D-79 start breathing heavily and D-79 begins to weep*

D-84: "Let's go. The 10 minutes are almost up."
*Both begin walking to SCP-XXXX-1 when a low grumble erupts*
D-79: "What was that?! Go!"
*Both run to SCP-XXXX-1*
*D-79 feels something slash his arm as the low grumble becomes a high pitched squeal*
D-79: *screaming*
*D-79's recorder cuts out into static*
D-84: *whispering* "There is nothing, there is nothing, go beyond, become pure… pure…"
*D-84 makes it through SCP-XXXX-1*
