Special Containment Procedures:The phone is held outside Site-73, concealed with an out-of-order sign and the power supply removed. This, however, does not outright disable its anomalous effects, yet it dissuades usage from the general public.
Description:
SCP-#### is a Payphone made by British telecom provider ███ in the year 1996. Upon lifting the receiver, and dialing a number (regardless of funds inserted), the subject will instead reach a different entity (designated SCP-####-1) Who will say the phrase "Thank you for calling unintelligible1. Please hold, and we'll get back to you!" And begins to play music consistent with standard hold music.2
Once 5 seconds of waiting has occurred, SCP-####'s anomalous properties begin manifesting in phases, as listed below.
Phase, time, effect
Phase 1, 5 seconds: Subject experiences reduced muscle tension and a general feeling of relaxation.
Phase 2, 10 seconds: Subject is no longer capable of walking away from the payphone, and any attempts to do so will fail.
Phase 3, 1 minute: Subject's heart rate begins to slowly increase.
Phase 4, 3 minutes: Subject experiences a mild headache.
Phase 5, 4 minutes: Subject experiences a migraine, and begins feeling chest pain.
Phase 6, 5 minutes: Subject suffers from a Syncope, whether this is a result of SCP-####'s previous phases or is directly caused by this phase is unknown.
Phase 7, 5 minutes, 12 seconds: The receiver begins emitting infrasound, and the unconscious body begins to rapidly decompose, taking approximately 1-2 minutes to do so. When the subject in question has desiccated, SCP-####'s anomalous properties cease.
Addendum 1: After the second subject during testing, Agent Branson3 was ordered to pick up the phone and dial in to ███- ███- ████. The phone instead reached a Call Center located in ███████, India by the name of ████. The voice on the other end of the line spoke with a thick accent and spoke for thirty seconds, before ceasing the call. This is the first time SCP-#### has reached any business that didn't reach the SCP-####-1 Instance. Further Investigation is pending, and Agent Branson has been interviewed (See Interview Log SCP-####-1)

Notes:After the death of two Class-D staff, [DATA EXPUNGED] and [DATA EXPUNGED], Agent Branson came across SCP-####, and partook in the only recorded successful call using SCP-####.

Following the end of the call, Agent Branson went to contact custodial staff to dispose of the two corpses. He was taken in for questioning and was released ██:██, March 26th, 20██.
