Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept hanging from its string on a stand at all times and to be clear of any obstacles near that might stop it from spinning. If it is found still it must promptly be spun again

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a black and red metal yoyo manufactured by ████████. It is roughly 55mm in diameter. Once spun from a standstill it will spin infinitely at high speeds with no sign of deceleration. The red ring around the yoyo will glow a dim light when it reaches what is presumed to be full speed. The yoyo will make an extreme screeching noise if stopped manually or if it is left in a position in which it can not spin. This noise can result in permanent deafness from a 20 meter radius. The noise can be blocked with heavy duty ear defenders. Once spun the object will stop making the screeching noise. It is unclear where the noise originates from but it is thought to be from inside the bearing of the yoyo.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was found atattched to an uprooted ash tree near a small town in Ireland. It is presumed that a heavy storm on the ██ / ██ / ████ uprooted the tree. It was reported to an SCP official by the local police as it was causing irritation to the residents. It was later collected by foundation personnel.
