A drone was dispatched into the containment area to pick up samples for testing and for further discovery of the location. Footage was taken from the drone.
One hour later and an instance of SCP-XXXX-3 is seen roaming in the woods. It does not appear to be aware of the drone passing by. The drone is instructed to continue.
Around 3 hours in the drone is flying a few meters away from SCP-XXXX. The drone is instructed to enter the hole. It is almost completely dark after one minute of descent, the drone turns on its headlights. The lights flash on revealing the sinkhole to be a small cave system. Video feed reveals a large yellow pool with a rocky island in the middle. On the island are thousands of small, pulsating eggs. After 10 minutes an egg hatches. A regular sized centipede crawls out of it. The drone is instructed to follow it. The centipede jumps off of the island into the yellow liquid. The drone takes a liquid sample and waits for one hour. The centipede emerges, one meter long now. It crawl out of the pool. The drone is aging instructed to follow it. The centipede crawls up a rocky pillar out of the hole. As soon as the centipede is at ground level an extremely loud screech is heard. The centipede crawls through the forest, ignoring everything. Eventually the centipede stops. The camera shows an infected squirrel standing completely immobile. The centipede runs up to the squirrel and bites it. The centipede curls into a ball and dies immediately.
The squirrel grows one meter tall. All of its fur falls off in 12 seconds revealing grey skin. 20 seconds into the transformation its ears tear off and are replaces by a multitude of welts. The squirrels hind legs and tail turn into an ooze the solidify into a snake tail, grey like its skin. The tail seems to be completely dysfunctional. Its arms become human-like with almost no visible fat tissue or muscle mass. A third arm rips out of its mouth, separating its bottom jaw from the skull.
The squirrel runs away. The drone is to be sent back.
The yellow liquid was not identified. The centipede was classified as SCP-XXXX-4 and the mutated SCP-XXXX-3 were classified as SCP-XXXX-5.
