Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently located in a sealed, sound-proofed room, designated room 23-A on level 14 of Site-77. SCP-XXXX is to be constantly supplied with an electric charge via an external power supply that can handle charges of 12 to 100,000 volts. No personnel are allowed to converse with SCP-XXXX unless permitted by staff or by part of a research experiment. If any personnel around SCP-XXXX hear a rising static noise emanating from SCP-XXXX’s room, they are to immediately evacuate the area and tell the closest Level Two (2) staff member about the event.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 1969 Lafayette Amateur Radio Transmitter, with attached custom-built radio transceiver and Morse-Code communication device. When any person converses with SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX starts to communicate back in a stereotypical, charismatic male 1950s era radio broadcaster's voice. Whoever starts a conversation with SCP-XXXX seems to be so invested in the conversation, that no external force can make the subject stop communicating with SCP-XXXX, in which the subject will either die of starvation or dehydration by throat swelling from constant communication. Most subjects will also lose their voice after two (2) to three (3) continuous days of communication, which results in the subject simply mouthing the words they’re trying to say to SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX completely understanding them, in which the conversation will continue.

SCP-XXXX also appears to have a complete knowledge of all fiction and non-fiction literature, but when asked about events in history that are not documented fully or future events, it will simply predict the intended answer. When asked by a subject to name all researchers and staff members present behind the opaque, two-way glass window. SCP-XXXX successfully named all four (4) researchers and the one (1) security personnel, reciting their full names, date of birth, country of origin and their “darkest secret” as described by SCP-XXXX. If a subject is exposed to SCP-XXXX for an amount of time and then asked to stop communicating with SCP-XXXX, they will refuse angrily and continue to communicate. When the subject is removed by force, they will act incredibly violent, using physical force to try to get back to SCP-XXXX. When placed in containment, the subject will act as if they were still conversing with SCP-XXXX and will refuse to eat or drink anything for around one (1) to two (2) days, in which after that time they will act with complete normality, starting to eat and drink again as well as having no interest in SCP-XXXX. These subjects will also recall the entire conversation with SCP-XXXX, being able to recite the entire conversation by heart.
