The subject is a spherical organism that has 5 stages of life the subject has a tethering rope-like muscle and a paper like skin that stretches and expands when organic material is present under it
1st stage(weeks 1-2) the subject is similar to an orb with feather-like protrusions covering it
2nd stage(weeks 2-4) the Engulfer has been observed losing the feathers and expanding an inch in diameter
3rd stage(weeks 4-6) the Engulfer changes to a green-ish hue and expands 3 inches in diameter
4th stage (weeks 6-death) stage the Engulfer changes to a dark purple hue and eats any organic material under it
5th stage (2 days after complete digestion) the plant itself has no change but it releases spores that grow into more Engulfers
containment procedures:an air lock is required to stop the spores spreading and a warning label around the plants reach with chain locks allowing testing of the organism with viewing windows 5 feet off the floor for view of the plant any extra offspring are to be terminated on sight
access: class 1 and below require permission from a class 2 or higher ranking officer unless D class personnel will be used to see the limits of the creature
tests:SCP (?) was exposed to SCP 757-1 Results:the subject produced spores on schedule the spores matured but with branch like protrusions when 757 produced fruits so did the subject after that the fruit and offspring were burned on the spot
test 2:the subject was exposed to the critical tomatoes the spores produced on time when a bad joke was made the spores didn't react but once they matured they grew the tomatoes when a bad joke was made the tomatoes reacted after words they were destroyed but in the process a class 3 number 967 made a pun and was killed on contact
