SCP-4991 in its containment cell at Site 17.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4991 Is to be kept in a 10'x10'x10' containment cell. Air conditioning should be active in the cell at all times at a stable temperature of 20°. Any sign of increased temperature should be corrected immediately. SCP-4991 is to be monitored by NON-Audio Security Cameras. The containment cell is to be reinforced with 15" thick soundproof glass, any reports of sound transmissions coming out of the cell is to be documented ASAP.
Research on SCP-4991 has been restricted to level 3 personnel or higher. 2 (Two) Level 3 Guards are to keep an eye on SCP-4991's Containment area, while wearing ear mufflers during the time in the containment room. During testing, 2 (Two) subjects are to be together at all times in SCP-4991's cell. Only 1 (One) Subject is to make physical contact with SCP-4991, if both make contact, they are to be terminated immediately.
In an event of a breach, 5 (Five) Mobile Task Force guards are to be positioned at the main entrance to the containment area of SCP-4991. No one is allowed in or out of the area until SCP-4991 has been recontained in its cell.
Description: SCP-4991 is a ██████ Sickle farm tool made of Leather, Steel, Obsidian, and an unknown metal that makes up the blade of the sickle. The blade glows bright orange, with a temperature of ████° Fahrenheit or ███° Celsius. Although the blade of SCP-4991 is incredibly hot, who ever makes physical contact with SCP-4991's blade will experience freezing throughout their body and will slowly begin to turn into ice.
SCP-4991 Upon discovery.
Since SCP-4991 cannot move on its own, it has adapted the use of sound and has converted the sizzling of its blade into communication through sound transmission. SCP-4991 has the ability to use these sound transmissions and lure any human being into its cell and picking it up by the handle. When human being comes in physical contact with SCP-4991's handle it takes control of the subject and then uses them to then strike any living being near them with the blade turning the being into ice.
When SCP-4991 has control of the subject, the subject transforms into a SCP-4991-1 instance. Although this has only happened once so far, it is undetermined if the form variates every time SCP-4991 takes control of a subject. SCP-4991-1 takes the form of a Soviet gulag farmer who is █' tall and weighs ███ pounds. SCP-4991-1 is still being documented on and all known information of SCP-4991-1 instances are found on the Baldwin logs below.

During the experiment Dr. ████████ Failed to log the SCP-4991-1 instance and remained the instance as D-4056. This information was later discovered after deeper investigation on the incident occurred.1
