Special Containment Procedures: All samples of SCP-XXXX and all instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be contained within Area 12. If SCP-XXXX is discovered to be outside of containment, MTF Beta-7 is to be called in to assist with establishing containment of SCP-XXXX.
Description:SCP-XXXX is a virus that cause all infected by it to share their mental and physical pain with other organisms of the same genus. There is currently no cure or vaccine for SCP-XXXX. ll recorded cases of SCP-XXXX have been lethal, as the primary effects of SCP-XXXX amplify dramatically when being replicated to other infected individuals. For example, a minor laceration on one individual would result in the pain of a major, potentially lethal laceration on it and other infected individuals of the same genus. Whenever the virus kills all of its hosts, it will remain dormant until living organisms come into contact with the virus. No strain of SCP-XXXX has shown the ability to infect non-living organisms.
SCP-XXXX was first discovered by the Foundation in 19██, when a group of archaeologists stumbled upon a tomb in [REDACTED], filled with at least 1,000 mummified remains, all infected with SCP-XXXX. All of the bodies discovered are in cold storage at Area 12.
All those infected with SCP-XXXX are to be classified as SCP-XXXX-1.
