The Music Box

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid (indicate which class)

Special Containment Procedures: The box thrives on people who have great imagination, which is why its critical SCP XXXX-X involves someone with a great imagination, like a little kid. Which is why every five years if it’s slowly dying from lack of imagination (Edit: entering a hibernation state) it’s critical that a child with a great imagination is brought within 10 meters. If not, use a copy of H.O.E book and a gold ring instead of a kid.

Description: The SCP takes the form of a gold and silver box measuring 11’’ x 14.38’’ x 12.5’’ with strange colored markings similar to hieroglyphics located both inside and outside of the object. Along with a few buttons When looking inside the box, a smaller music box component was identified with a crank on the backside of the larger box. It also has a latch in the form of a lock located on the front of the larger box. The Lock has an unusual mechanic that requires an intelligent mind to open. The box remains in one place for 5 years. Once the 5 years is up, it disappears suddenly. The SCP foundation has been unable to identify where the box goes, but acknowledges it must be going somewhere. The box then appears in multiple locations before returning to the foundation. When it vanished 20 years ago, it was later discovered to have been in Egypt. SCP XXXX-X was entertaining a young girl who looked through the lid. When the music is turned up, and when someone is within at least 10 meters from the box, the box will send out some flying creatures in the form of origami beings. The box can play any kind of music from techno to rock determined by the favorite kind of music of a subject within 10 feet. These beings fly around similarly to SCP 1762-2. When the music stops, the origami figures will retreat back to the box and like SCP 408 they sometimes use a shapeshift method but not always for self defense. The image within the box is the image of four figures who sparkle after the box is open. Nobody knows what type of metal the box is made of to be exact, due to the point that they can't chip off a piece of the box. There are 600 failed attempts on record.

Addendum: The box also has a doorway to another world containing intelligent life. Most of the dominant species in this world are advanced androids infused with DNA and some take the form of cartoonish characters. This includes dragons, reindeer, beast warriors, and other common animals within a human mind myth or unique to this world. The androids have qualities similar to any organic organism. What makes them androids is that their real forms are made with liquid metal and can adjust their own voices along with the fact they can have different filters that give them abilities unique to them. The creatures seem to be called “powermon” by the people. The powermon enjoys sports including combat with other powermon and can be a companion to the people, but to companionize a powermon, you have to catch one. Usually the community will give you a starter powermon to get started. The capturing process requires a battle and a blank card made of biometric code, and the one who is catching the powermon requires voice activation saying “Taming on ''. After the powermon has been defeated, it accepts the taming process and will turn into what’s known as a powermon core. Next, the heart will go through the card and it will become the powermon’s key card. This key card allows someone to call forth the powermon out from the card. The powermon has some evolution stages that they can go back and forth between. It seems there are spells that can take the form of music. When a d class who had lung cancer drank the world's water he was cured of said illness like the water gave some extra lifeforce. This world carries an scp foundation similar to ours but they only contain the ones that kill/hurt innocent people (like siren head, who not only kills for food, but also for the sport) and help the safe ones that are hurting, along with help people outside of the foundation. They still test with their non-vicious scp but they can have breaks and they have as much access to be outside of the foundation as a normal person. A lot of the Technology is just as modern as in our world and the people can talk in english. The first person who stepped into this world was known as Agent █████ who was quite interested in how life works in that world. It turns out that some of the people have accelerated processing power to think, and have good memory. The people age at a much slower rate than an average human being, and show much more resilience. Not to mention they even have a few gods that are not like in our world, but primarily 6. These are more accurately called demi-gods. Despite being gods they wish just to be respected even though they are the higher ups to the leaders of each region. Dr. █████ Took some blood from a god known as Skates. Through testing the Dr. has been electrocuted all over his body, but survived *see written account below. This proved that it’s possible that the life forms from that world are defensive down to the molecular level. Because of this finding, it has been theorized that the people from that world might be capable of causing end-of-the-world scenarios. It has been proven by Dr. █████. That life forms have the ability to shapeshift into guards before pranking Agent█████ .The androids can also leave the world and come back by portal making tech.If someone does or says any un-kid friendly thing (anything not approved by the ESRB for an E10 rating), the environment might turn into a field of chaos or it would just make the gods mad and want to kill/steal the voice of the one that did it. The response seems arbitrary, changing from situation to situation. When a d class did such thing he was decapitated and only the head left that world. When the scientist came across the living head, they found there were no anomalous values, yet the head remained alive. As a result, they had the head terminated. a report by the agents that entered with the d class there claimed that a few volcanoes just popped out of the ground when the d class said ‘█████l’. Dr. █████ learned that the rules of that world are different since then. When someone dies in the other world the body normally dissolves to nothing in minutes. This world resembles the novel ‘Heart of Elements’ by █████, it is possible it's the same world but unlikely due to the fact that most of the people don't fit in with the characters in the story.

Observer report- XXXX-X-2
The doctor thought of getting a sample of one of the demi-gods. According to one of the androids it would probably be unwise to take a blood sample from Skates, the most powerful one. The reason why is because Skates doesn’t trust the foundation because he believes that the 05 act like they desire to be gods. However, Dr. XXXX didn’t think that a name like Skates would be all that threatening, so he asked around to figure out where to find Skates. Learning he is located in the core of this world, or as the inhabitants would call it “The Ark”. However, it is very difficult to keep track of your location in the core. It appears that the rooms are randomly generated, however eventually Dr. █████ found where he needed to go, and found Skates. Skates was asleep at the time, but when Dr. █████ took a needle and placed it in his arm, Skates was startled awake and soon after enraged. Skates then turned into a creature that could cause insanity in onlookers. Skates eventually caught up to him, and cast Dr. █████ out of the world. Hours later the doctor woke up and started the blood test. He took a wire, warmed it on flame and dipped the wire in the blood. A surge of electricity flowed through the wire and through the doctor, knocking him unconscious.
During cross testing with multiple violent SCP’s to determine if they would react similarly to how they had reacted to their prior victims, experiments showed that there was no effects with the people from the box. It seems to be the effects are like a magnet to them, repelling one another. In fact, the entire people seem to have the same resistance to other SCP effects. But when Dr. XXXX once exposed SCP 847 to a female android of that world and once the SCP attacked, the android countered and attacked back. As a result, SCP 847 got frozen in ice for 48 hours. SCP 847 emerged from this ice enraged, as if still fighting the android. The foundation believes SCP 847 was unconscious during its time frozen. Further testing is required.
