Item #: SCP-5134
Object class: Euclid
Special containment procedures: SCP-5134 is to be kept in an air-tight, vacuum sealed room about 5 ft by 5 ft (About the average height of a human in the United States of America)
Cell is to be quadruple locked, with access needing to be granted by Level 4 personal or higher.
Any attempt to interact with SCP-5134 will require subject to be sent to quarantine immediately, and if necessary, termination.
Cell is to be made of opaque, one way glass as to let personal always have SCP-5134 in sight, but not allow SCP-5134 to view anyone outside it's cell.
Description: SCP-5134 is, in its standard state, a gelatinous slug type of creature, measuring about 3 ft in height, and being about 4 feet long. It has two external eyes, being elevated above its head by appendages appearing out of it's head. SCP-5134 is usually green in color, resembling foliage mostly found in North America.
SCP-5134 is completely docile most of the time, slowly moving occasionally. SCP-5134 does not eat or sleep.
However, once SCP is within 5 meters of a human, it will telepathically search it's victims mind for the person the victim loves most in life, deceased or living.
SCP-5134 will then begin a transformation process, slowing becoming whichever person victims mind showed, no matter the gender, size, or age. SCP-5134 has the most hold victims that have lost said loved ones in a tragic event.
Once SCP-5134 has fully transformed, SCP-5134 will then begin speaking in a distorted voice, not matching any of the victims loved ones, and sounding like a low growling. SCP-5134 will begin to hypnotize victim by saying phrases that place blame on the victim. Examples include, "Why didn't you save me?", "It was your fault!", and "You're to blame!".
This will usually put the victim into a state of despair, rushing over to SCP-5134, usually in an attempt to console the transformed SCP-5134 and refute it's claims.
At this point, SCP-5134 will begin to slowly merge with the victim, it's form breaking down in a grotesque fashion as it fuses with the cells of the victim. This causes its victims to experience great pain, but will not break the trance over the victim.
Once SCP-5134 fully merges with victim, victims insides (except for bone tissue) is liquefied and will seep out of victim, allowing for SCP-5134 to fill the victims insides. At this point, victim will be known as SCP-5134-1.
Once the merge with SCP-5134-1 is finally complete, SCP-5134-1 will attempt to find another human in the general vicinity, searching for one with a similar tragic scenario as before. If SCP-5134-1 finds this, it will follow the same process as before, however instead of SCP-5134 itself merging, SCP-5134-1 will hold onto the new victim, and a small part of SCP-5134 will travel into the new victims body, but will not liquefy the entirety of the insides, and will just liquify the brain, controlling the new victim telepathically from SCP-5134-1. Any instances that SCP-5134-1 creates, are hereby to be known as SCP-5134-2.
SCP-5134-1 will keep assimilating new victims until it has spread itself to thin, in which case it will require a period of 24 hours to fully regenerate itself. The regeneration process requires the intake of any fluid available, even those usually harmful to humans.
The only way to destroy instances of SCP-5134-1 and SCP-5134-2 is to sever the spinal column, directly in the back of the neck. This will cause the mental link between SCP-5134-1's brain and instances of SCP-5134-2, as well as sever control over SCP-5134-1 motor functions.
Instances of SCP-5134-2's skulls will quickly disintegrate and the severed parts of SCP-5134 will make their way towards SCP-5134-1, not stopping even when provoked.
SCP-5134-1 however will disintegrate over the course of 20 minutes, the entire body being disintegrated and not just the skull.
During this point, the severed parts of SCP-5134 will merge into SCP-5134-1 and rejoin with SCP-5134, and once the disintegration process has completed, SCP-5134 will immediately search for a new host.
During the disintegration process is the only time when the re-containing of SCP-5134 is possible, and disintegrating body is to be transported back and placed in airtight cell immediately.
Discovery: SCP-5134 was discovered in the small town of ████████, Texas on October ██th, 19██.
Reports filed by local officers of the law reported that local citizens had been attacking each other and according to officers, "Hugging each other in a strange fashion after the attack". SCP personal was sent to monitor the situation for possible anomalous activity.
Instances of SCP-5134-2 were discovered to have taken over the entire town by the time SCP personal arrived, and while body shots appeared to do nothing to these instances, it was discovered after one shot hit one of these instances in the neck, that the instance would topple over and SCP-5134 would crawl back to the host.
These smaller instances of SCP-5134 were followed and traced to the host, which had taken great measures to make sure it's neck and throat had been covered. After a firefight with
SCP-5134-1 and the few remaining instances of SCP-5134-2, SCP-5134-1 spinal column was eventually severed and body was placed into standard body bag to be brought back to Site-23.
During transport, body bag started to rustle and personal were surprised when SCP-5134 started tearing through body bag as one of the personal's deceased girlfriend who had died in a violent stabbing a year early. The other personal who was accompanying was able to push SCP-5134 into one of the cells inside transportation vehicle. Personal that SCP-5134 had affected instantly became violent and tried to release the latch so that SCP-5134 may be released, and was terminated after much resistance by other personal.
Note: This is my first time trying to write for this forum and any feedback is greatly appreciated. Please keep it constructive, as that will allow me to improve upon this idea.
I've ran this idea by a few friends of mine who frequent this site, and after a few revisions, this is the idea I've come up with. This is a rough draft, and I wanted to get some feedback from the site itself before I continued.
