Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-5616, it is impossible to contain. A group will be assigned to monitor sightings on the web for SCP-5616. In the scenario of SCP-5616 appearing in a containment facility, armed guards will be required to terminate SCP-5616. In the scenario of a civilian being attacked by SCP-5616, they shall be hospitalized, treated with Class B amnestics, and then released back into society with a cover story if needed. A large collection of closets, pantries, and other small dark rooms are being kept at site [REDACTED] with armed guards posted across day and night to attempt to lure SCP-5616 into manifesting there instead of at civilian residence.
Description: SCP-5616 is a bipedal entity with horns, three spiked toes, and flesh that looks like it is in a state of rotting. It’s eyes have an always crazed expression, and it is always observed to be smiling with a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. SCP-5616 is approximately 63 centimeters (25 inches) in height. SCP-5616 has uncanny strength for its size, demonstrating the ability to lift an entire car on one particular occasion.
Every 1-3 weeks, SCP-5616 will materialize inside of any small, dark room of its choosing. This can be anywhere in the world, and it is unknown how it picks it’s rooms. SCP-5616 has not yet chosen the same room twice. It is unknown whether this is due to the inability to choose the same room twice, or the fact that there are many, many dark small rooms in the world to pick. Upon the door to the room being opened, or the person viewing the entity inside of the room, SCP-5616 will attack and attempt to kill the person who opened the door or viewed the entity.
SCP-5616 can be easily eliminated with a firearm or explosive, however physical damage and sharp weapons have proven to be ineffective against it. When SCP-5616 is eliminated, that will not stop another one from appearing in the next 1-3 weeks. After an instance of SCP-5616 has killed it’s target, it will de-manifest, leaving no trace of itself. SCP-5616 often discards it’s victims after it kills them. It has been observed to attempt to kill it’s target by biting at their necks with it’s razor-sharp teeth.
