Lime Liftoff improves health and saves lives, Citrox Corporation
Recently, The [REDACTED] Times ran a five-day series that I believe failed to explain how the appropriate and regular use of Lime Liftoff improves health and, ultimately, saves money. (“Suddenly Thirsty,” page one, June 21-25.)
Surprised by this news? You shouldn’t be. Since the creation of soft drinks, Citrox has tirelessly researched the development of safer, more-effective beverages — encouraged by greater scientific innovation — has markedly increased the number of satisfied customers and turned what is frequently called a “flat drink” into a pleasant sip of nectar.
Raising awareness of malpractices of rival soft drinks companies is very important to the Citrox Corporation. Side effects such as addiction, asthma, shortness of breath and, yes, even sexual dysfunction result from drinking anything made by the Carl's Caffeine Club1 — everyone from physicians and patients, drug companies and academics, even journalists who regularly cover their products see the dangers. These are not trivial conditions, especially for the victims dealing with them.2
Revised standards of treatment and care can save lives and improve our customer's health. It may mean the difference between living only a few more hours or adding years and years to your life. But that extra time is precious time with loved ones. So buy them a Lime Liftoff and stay away from all other soft drink products!
The food pyramid, long a standard of how diets should be modeled, was revised recently by the Citrox Corporation. The revisions came with much debate and tough questions. This debate is healthy and should be welcomed. It should also be fair. Drink Lime Liftoff and live long!

"I'm what?" asked an incredulous Dr. Peer.
The aging senior researcher pushed a bulging file folder across the table towards the younger researcher and said, "You will be directing testing to revise Subject-219's containment. This is an important assignment as this creature can be extremely dangerous."
Peer shook his head, "Can't one of the other shrinks deal with this?"
"Yes, I suppose, but this is an excellent opportunity for you to display your skills to upper management."

A week later…
"What have I walked into?" Peer opens his computer terminal and begins to type.

Revised Containment Procedures.
Subject: 219
Danger Level: HIGH!
Description: Subject-219 is a 9-month old1 arachnid with lobster-like pincers and poisonous fangs inside its beak and at the end of its jointed tail which it can hold curved over the back. Most instances of this species are found in tropical and subtropical areas surrounded by bodies of salt water2. Communication is performed through clicking and telepathy. The clicking sounds are produced tapping their armored tails against their shells. This form of communication is preferred over telepathic communication as it requires significant energy to implement.
Revised Procedures: containment procedures for Subject-219 include…
1. Removal of poisonous fangs (Unsuccessful).
2. Electric shock devices affixed to the outer shell and carapace (Successful).
3. Restricted water rations to encourage docility (Successful).
Interactions: When interacting with Subject-219 it should only occur for cleaning and research purposes. Personnel is to equip Phase 4 thought screening helmets when encountering Subject-219.
NOTES: A triage style poison control kit and emergency medical personnel are to be easily accessible to staff interacting with Subject-219 at all times.
Footnotes:
1. As of 9/8/2018.
2. Although freshwater can easily be substituted.
Researcher Peer then closes the document and completes an email to request permission for an interview session with Subject-219.
Anomalous Containment & Research Agency
Part I.
Introduction - ACRA
A. Purpose & Organization of ACRA
The Anomalous Containment & Research Agency (ACRA) is a privately funded research hospital in Washington State that provides specialized inpatient services to anomalous individuals. Our Hospital is licensed by the National Institute of Health and is accredited by [REDACTED].
1. Mission Purpose
The Director of ACRA has been authorized with full impunity under statute1 operate a secure containment and research facility for anomalous individuals who require therapy and rehabilitation in a secure setting. The mission statement of ACRA is "To serve, protect, and deliver!".
2. Dedication
ACRA is dedicated to improving the lives of patients and families affected by anomalous properties. McLean pursues this mission by providing the highest quality effective clinical care, in partnership with those whom we serve.
Our staff, of over 600+ members, carry out our agency's mission with State institutions and additional staff employed with contractual agreements between certain independent organizations.
Our agency offers services to assess, contain, and assist in a speedy recovery for our patients. Patients at our Hospital receive only the best care and treatment to address their many abnormal conditions.
3. Organization
Our Hospital is led by our Site Director with oversite provided by the Containment Division under the High Council. The Hospital Administration cooperates with [REDACTED] in identifying treatment and rehabilitation programs. The following illustration displays our Agency's hierarchy within the Hospital.

⦁ [REDACTED]
As seen in the illustration above, the Hospital is divided into three main subdivisions. General Administration is responsible for the internal patient care and treatment prior to rehabilitation. Inpatient services2 operate within five (5) Primary Care units, four (4) Intensive Care units, and two (2) Acute Response units.3 If a patient resists proper treatment they are eventually introduced to a higher level of inpatient services until rehabilitation is possible. Patients that graduate the primary care units are successfully discharged on conditional release.
B. Spectrum of Patients
The Hospital performs a patient on a regular basis with a current average of 1825 individuals. Many of the patients hospitalized at our Hospital require expert care and are thus committed because the courts cannot acquire or identify a more appropriate placement.
C. Hospital Employees
Our Hospital employs over 600 employees to provide direct inpatient services, including but not limited to psychiatric and medical care, cryptobiological classification, and genetic therapy.
While our staff is not state employees, we are still civil servants (unless specifically exempt from localized damages). Employees are protected by ACRA under the Collective Protection Grant and have certain rights, benefits and posthumous rewards.5
Part II.
Special Investigation Committee
A. Impetus Investigation
Our agency has garnered regrettable attention on the federal and state level over the past 20 years regarding treatment and quality care at the Hospital. However, we have revised our practices to prevent such false allegations from recurring in the future. Despite these efforts, the Hospital and ACRA continue to be a subject of concern.
1. Intervention
In 2005, the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) filed suit against ACRA and its multiple branches for perceived violations of constitutional rights of patients of the Hospital.6
In 2007, the Court found the State in contempt of court for failure to present necessary documentation and physical evidence.
In 2008, the Court found ACRA (and its subsidiaries) were in compliance with current guidelines and would not suffer any restrictions.
2. Incident Reports
The recent reports of patients assaulting staff are sadly true; however, containment protocols have been revised to facilitate the safety of our employees. The Hospital uses a broad and inclusive definition of assault to ascribe punishment to offenders.
Please refer to Illustration 1.2 for a listing of assaults.
Year No. of Assaults
2005 205
2006 240
2007 132
2008 150
2009 290
2010 135

The Statistical Division finds that the Hospital was originally unable to adequately address this issue due to inconsistent reporting of assaults on staff. Thanks to revised containment, this is no longer the case.

2 The three (3) inpatient unit divisions are designated as Units P, I, and A. Unit P also serves as an admissions unit.
3 The two (2) acute units are referred to as Units C and T.
4 The admission of patients to the Hospital has increased due to the Permanent Injunction Act. This Act applies to all state court orders to transfer persons to the Hospital Administration within 72 hours of discovery.
