Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-6052-1 that appear outside of the foundation are to be briefed about their new circumstances and regularly supplied with Formula-6052 to meet their dietary needs. New instances that refuse are to comply are to be dosed with amnestics and cured no less than once every three months or have their dietary needs fulfilled in secret by field agents. Due to the nature of SCP-6052, instances of SCP-6052-1 are only to be neutralized as a last resort, and doing so requires permission from 3 or more foundation agents with security clearance level 3 or higher.

Medical staff at the SCP foundation is to monitor their patients for symptoms and report confirmed targets of this anomaly to the current head researcher of SCP-6052 immediately. Instances that works for the foundation are required to change their dietary habits to include high amounts of formula-6052.

Description: SCP-6052 is a phenomenon that alters the anatomy of human beings, transforming them into instances of SCP-6052-1. Without formula-6052, individuals affected by SCP-6052 display the following symptoms:

• Unusual cravings.
• A 300% increase in appetite and metabolism.
• An average body temperature of -10 degrees Celsius.
• Lack of empathy.

SCP-6052 can target anyone, but appears to be more likely to target individuals that fit one or more of the following criteria:

• Aged 50 years or older.
• Have an income of 100,000 USD or more.
• Have access to rare and/or classified knowledge.
• Occupy a position of power.
• Are well-known throughout the world.

Formula-6052: Formula-6052 is a condensed protein composite derived from human subjects. To date, no substance has abated the symptoms associated with SCP-6052 other than human flesh; however, research on this subject is ongoing.

Formula-6052 does not have a consistent level of effect on subjects. Instead, the potency and duration of the formula appears to increase with the following criteria:

• Higher quantities of individuals present in the formula.
• Lower average age of the ingredients.
• Lower average income of the ingredients.
• Lower perceived value of ingredients during their lifetime.
• 6052-1 instances not personally knowing the consumed ingredients.
• The death of the consumed organisms.
• 6052-1 instances not knowing the names of the consumed ingredients.
• Prejudice of 6052-1 instances against the ingredients.

Addendum 6052-1: Researchers speculate that increases to the population of positively correlate with global increases in temperature commonly referred to as "Climate Change", but this has not been confirmed.
