Special Containment Procedures: SCP 5000 is to be kept inside a steel 3M x 3M x 3M containment cell, with only one entrance. Any request to enter SCP 5000's containment cell should have full records of mental health, medication, or any records including self harm or suicide attempts. Two security guards that have no record of any of the illnesses listed above are to be stationed outside of SCP 5000's containment.

Description: SCP 5000 is a bipedal figure measured at around 1.89 meters, wearing what appears to be a mask with areas extruded from it, as to form a shape like a smile. The body of SCP appears to resemble that of a normal male, except for a spike measuring about .3 meters extruding from each wrist, a greyish black pigmentation instead of any normal colours and the fingernails tapering out to form small claws.

SCP 5000 appears to be docile the majority of the time, and shows very little physical and neural functions outside of it's anomalous effects. However, SCP can be heard whimpering to itself, though it is currently unknown what SCP 5000 says in these mumbles.

SCP 5000's anomalous effects occur when it comes into contact with persons who have had depression, attempted suicide, or have a history in self harm. Upon entering within 2M of SCP 5000, it will charge at the person with any of the listed ailments above and start to █████ into their ██████, leaving what resembles a smile implanted. At this point, persons affected by SCP 5000 are to be labeled SCP 5000-1. SCP 5000-2 appears to still be sapient, but rambles on about "Putting on a smile", and seems to attack any persons who aren't smiling. Request to interview SCP 5000-2 have been denied for now.

Any request to perform testing on SCP 5000 are to only be granted for members with level 4 clearence, who have successfully passed a background check for any mental health issues. Restricted tests include:

  • Testing whether SCP 5000 can break through metals [Tested: True]
  • Testing whether SCP will run out of the door if left open [Tested: True]
  • Testing whether SCP will fail to kill a target once it leaves radius [Tested: False]
  • Testing if SCP 5000 will target SCP 5000-1 [Tested: False]
