Internal drum of SCP-XXXX.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained in a storage locker in the western wing of Site-17. Level 3/XXXX clearance is required to connect SCP-XXXX to a power source, and to generate SCP-XXXX-2 instances.
SCP-XXXX-2 instances are kept in standard humanoid containment cells in the southwestern wing of Site-17.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a front-loading washing machine, marked with the logo for Stones, a defunct Scottish electronics company. The model for SCP-XXXX is at present commercially available from several small stores in Scotland.
Settings marked on SCP-XXXX include Daily 59 Min., Whites, Sports and other appellations typical of commercial washing machines. The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX manifest when any of these settings is selected.
Upon selection, the metal drum within SCP-XXXX begins to rotate whilst introducing a heavy crimson liquid (hereby denoted SCP-XXXX-1) from its pores, thoroughly soaking any items within the drum. This process lasts 54 minutes 21 seconds. SCP-XXXX then enters a secondary stage in which the drum is static.
By the end of the secondary "drying" stage, the pulp will have fully developed into a fully grown humanoid (hereby denoted as an instance of SCP-XXXX-2). Here the door to SCP-XXXX opens by itself mechanically, and the manifest SCP-XXXX-2 instance removes itself manually from the enclosed space.
SCP-XXXX-2 instances are dwarvish adult males coated with viscous trails of SCP-XXXX-1. They are identical in appearance; instances measure 132 centremetres in height, 61.9 kilograms in weight. Furthermore, instances are devoid of body hair as well as skin colouring, appearing exceptionally pale. All clothing entered in SCP-XXXX is worn by the emergent instance (see Addendum XXXX-A). Facial structures are identical.
Instances do no demonstrate a comprehension of language, nor vocal capabilitities. Following their emergence, generated instances have been observed investigating their immediate vicinity, interacting with small objects and slowly approaching surrounding persons. Notably, instances tend to return to SCP-XXXX, caressing its edges and rear pipes.
As of documentation, seven SCP-XXXX-2 instances (designated SCP-XXXX-2A to SCP-XXXX-2G) have been generated. This includes instances formed in Foundation testing as well as those formed unwillingly prior to containment (see Discovery).
Chemical analysis has outlined that SCP-XXXX-1 may be composed of non-eukaryotic in a ██████ ██████ hypernetwork. It has proven difficult to fully map the infrachemical composition of the substance, however; further research is pending.
Addendum XXXX-A: The following is a comprehensive list of all SCP-XXXX-2 instances.
