Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 50 mm x 50mm x 50mm titanium safe with two locks, a padlock and an O5 Keycard and O5 fingerprint scan. (Reasons for such drastic measures explained in Addendum #2). SCP-XXXX's safe is to be within a larger key-locked vault of 4 m x 4 m x 3 m, and 4 camera systems with both visual and auditory setup straight to off-site security feeds for Site-██.
4 armed guards are to be guarding SCP-XXXX's vault with training against terrorist and occultist threats attempting to gain seize SCP-XXXX. The guards are to be switched once every 2 weeks to prevent them from falling under the influence of SCP-XXXX.
In the event of a breach into SCP-XXXX's vault MTF Epsilon-11 (Nine-Tailed Fox) is to be dispatched to recover the object, or clear the threat, regardless of if the object's safe had been breached. In the event that SCP-XXXX leaves Site-██ MTF Epsilon-11 is to scout the area and retrieve SCP-XXXX before it gets too far off Site-██. In the event that SCP-XXXX leaves the vicinity of Site-██, O5-██ is to give direct and highly classified orders, to [REDACTED].
Description: SCP-XXXX is a red star made of a strange metal alloy with the golden hammer and sickle engraved into it's front. It appears to be some sort of pendant or coin, and could easily be mistaken as something mass-produced by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics for their officers and leaders.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties are that it makes anyone around it want to have it in their possession, this effect is seemingly amplified if the person has political standing. The second anomaly is that the person in possession of SCP-XXXX gains great amounts of political power (See Addendum #1), and leads to extreme gains for the new political party/government/nation.
Addendum #1: Current timeline of SCP-XXXX: Shortly before Murad II of the Ottoman Empire assumes reign of the Ottoman throne, Murad finds SCP-XXXX somewhere (location unknown), which leads to the powerful nation of the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman possession of SCP-XXXX lasts until 1/██/1915, when a Russian spy manages to steal the object from the chambers of the Sultan, and returns to Russia, giving SCP-XXXX to Joseph Stalin. SCP-XXXX briefly changes hands from Russia to Germany from 7/██/1939 to 2/██/1941 when a Russian spy managed to retrieve SCP-XXXX again, and return it to the U.S.S.R. leading to the downfall of the Third Reich. Russia remained in control of SCP-XXXX before it disappeared in 9/██/1989. SCP-XXXX reappeared with the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan, and remained in 1995, where it remained in the Taliban's possession until 2001 during a raid by U.S.A. Operatives in the area. The object was taken by operatives due to it's "alluring aura". From there, MTF Iota-10 were able to safely transfer it to Foundation facilities, alongside the captive Taliban soldier who had been found with it.
Addendum #2:
NOTICE FROM O5-██: Greetings, staff at Site-██ and more, this notice is in direct response to concerns about how much effort is being put into the containment, as well as breach protocols of SCP-XXXX. While I assure you, it may seem like much it's very, very necessary. In the event that SCP-XXXX is not contained, it could lead to governmental shutdowns, complete changes of power, or a sudden rise in GoI support, these are not exaggerations and I am ashamed that I have to even give reasoning for such a dangerous object.
