SCP-5913 Also known as "The Staff of Pyrant", appears to be a staff 1.5 meters in length and .5 inch in width. At the top of the staff is a solid piece that resembles a question mark with a more evident curl. Color: #FFD700(GOLD). The material that was used to make the SCP or its origin is currently under investigation. Analysis of the SCP reveals it is not made from any Earth-bound material or any such matter. Foundation Staff has not yet discovered any background to the staff, how it was created, what lead to its creation, why it was left in Egypt, or who created, if anyone.
Containment Procedure: SCP-5913 is considered an SCP that classifies as all object class rankings among foundation personnel. The object in question is not to have ANY human interaction with it at all costs. SCP-5913 is to be kept in a 5x1 maple wood box. The box is to be filled with sand about 7 inches to the mid-section of the box… The staff will be placed into a mold made of pine wood coated with glass and placed into the wooden box on top of the sand with the staff placed inside the mold. The box will then be completely filled with sand on top of the SCP and is to not be moved from its spot under any circumstances. The box will have a shoebox type lid and be placed over the containment box. This lid will have 1 lock on each side made out of brass, gold, copper, steel, and glass. Each lock is to remain untouched and under no circumstances to be opened unless authorized by the 05-Council.
Foundation based information: SCP-5913 was discovered in Egypt by foundation archeologist Dr.Thomas Luther in an old pharaoh’s tomb who is unknown due to grave robbing. Finding the staff lead to some investigation due to what followed. Luther was interviewed by Flyyn Henry:
Luther: ‘I knew it was there. I did not know how but I did. I spent 6 hours moving items aside, digging, stomping on bugs, just looking for it. It was as if it was calling to me. I knew it was there…IT KNEW I was there. When I found it, I just snapped out of whatever trans I was in and I couldn’t believe what I had found. A staff! It was glorious. Until it wasn’t… I still don’t know how I got here. I was about to walk out of the tomb to go back to the rover but… I appeared here! I do not even know what site we are at.’
Flyyn: So you do not know how you got here at all? Seems a little suspicious. So do remember what it was like when you just appeared here? Did you feel, hear, see, even taste anything on your way here?
Luther: Like I said. I was walking out of the tomb, and boom! Instead of me about to push a tarp out of my way, I was in the sector 3 hallway. I mean I have like a faint memory of it but it might not even be a memory. Might just be my thoughts.
Flyyn: What does it sound like? Can you see anything?
Luther:*Has closed eyes* It looks blue sort of. I hear what seems like whispering but I cannot tell for sure. The whisper is getting louder….
Flyyn: What do you mean? Are you able to tell what voice is saying?
Luther: Not really…. It sorts of sounds like-*Luther screamed in agony*
Flyyn: Interview Room No.56 needs medical assistance immediately, Dr.Thomas Luther is experiencing some type of panic attack I thi-HOLY SHIT!! STOP! NO, GET AWAY IM NOT-
*Camera Audio/Video Log ends unexpectedly. Last viewed footage shows Dr.Thomas Luther attacking Flyyn with the staff. Dr.Thomas Luther had proceeded to ‘levitate’ holding the staff while speaking in an unknown language.*
When MTF and medical personnel reached the door to Interview Room No.56, it was bent and seemingly severely damaged from the inside. It took MTF 30 minutes to open the door. When opened, hallway security cameras captured the screams of horror from the MTF guard’s and medical staff’s as they opened the door. Once opened, the security cameras rebooted after 30 seconds to show a questionable scene compared to what eyewitness accounts state. Cameras showed an undamaged room with Flyyn and Luther standing back-to-back speaking an unknown language. Eyewitness accounts state opening the door and seeing what looked like hieroglyphs on the walls in what was confirmed to be blood, although neither person was missing blood.
Accounts say the door was opened and everything in the room looked burnt, was flipped over or in pieces, some pieces of glass even melted. On the floor was Luther whose body was severely burnt and seemed to have large deep cuts on it from an unknown source. Flyyn’s body was on the floor with little injuries. Report says there had been blood dripping from his eyes as if he was crying it, and on his chest was a curled symbol with what might be inscriptions surrounding it, burnt into it through his shirt. When examined closely, Flyyn’s body was slightly hovering above the ground with no reason as to how. Flyyn was assumed dead for 3 days until he woke up in the Foundation’s morgue. When interviewed, Flyyn could not speak. He seemed horrified as whatever he saw had to be traumatizing. However, after about 1 week, Flyyn Henry returned to his office almost as if nothing had happened. When spoken to about SCP-5913, Flyyn had no reaction that would be alarming to foundation personnel.
After the events that took place in Room No.56, the only person who was willing to research SCP-5913 was Flyyn Henry. During his time assigned to the SCP, Flyyn executed 63 ½ experiments before he was terminated. On what was supposed to be the 64th experiment, Flyyn died leaving the experiment unfinished as it should stay. This experiment uncovered valuable information from the unfinished experiment. Human interaction is not good in anyway with the staff. The experiment involved Flyyn asking 5 Class-D personnel to hold the staff and think.
SCP-5913 was given to the first participant, with an IQ level of 100. The staff glowed a light green color before suddenly all the lights went out. When the object was taken from the recipient, the lights quickly turned on and the light green glow vanished. The next participant had an IQ level of 115, and when given the staff, it started to glow a metallic orange. Everything in the room started to melt but with no heat generating at all. The SCP was then given to the next participant, IQ level 130, and quickly turned into a dark green. Every item in the room that was made from natural sources turned into flowers, and so did most of the clothing on the other participants. When handed over to the next participant, IQ level 147, metal items in the room began to rust. The floor started to break apart and grow mold, and the ceiling looked like it was getting wet from the floor above. The affects from the last two recipients wore off, but it seemed as if time was moving faster. Flyyn reports opening the door, which he struggled to do, and most of the facility being torn apart and overtaken by vegetation. Once the SCP was taken away from the participant and given to the next participant, the environment did not change. The participant had an IQ level of 162. The staff changed colors to a neon color that was “unexplainable” and Flyyn along with the other recipients reported feeling happy and nostalgic. When given to the next participant, IQ level 180, the staff glowed a bright white and suddenly everything had restored back to normal. Flyyn’s eyes started to bleed and his shirt caught on fire on his chest. He screamed in agony and quickly in fear of being terminated, the participant dropped the staff. It dented the floor with enough force to be able to cause a foundation bunker to explode. MTF busted down the door and pointed their guns directly at the D-CLASS participants. In an effort to avoid termination, the D-Class participant picked up the staff. Almost immediately, Flyyn awoke again, grabbing the staff, and this is where witness accounts stop. MTF soldiers report hearing an extremely loud explosion type sound before everything went white. After waking up and being analyzed, there was noting wrong with them. They reported hearing a faint whisper that was telling them to “Go forward and lead away” when they woke up. Flyyn was gone along with the staff. Investigations have been on-going, no sightings of the SCP or Flyyn have been reported….

*FILE BREACH OVERIDE*
You do not know who I am. You will never know where I am, or where I came from, and who is to say I even know. You may not even what I am. But I know you, and everything you do. Everything you say, think, or remember. I know it all. We did not know IT was still here. We did not know it survived what we had done to it. We know you have it. But whatever you do, please. Do not stop trying to find its origins. We have never been able to find out where it came from. I did not think anyone would ever find it. But the only thing we can ever tell you as advice? Its origin may be its only creator possible, but it is also its only demise. You people are the only other people in the multiverse who know of its existence. We’d like to keep it that way, as I am sure you want to also.
