Special Containment Procedures: Public access to SCP-XXXX is to remain unrestricted except in the case of an SCP-XXXX-1 event. In the case of such an event, civilians who do not reside within SCP_XXXX are to be evacuated and administered class-A amnestics. A 1.65 square mile perimeter under the guise of road construction is to be established around SCP-XXXX only allowing access to those with permission of level four personnel. All personnel stationes at SCP-XXXX are to be issued
adequate ear protection. SCP-XXXX-2 instances are not to be acknowledged unless under approved testing. Those under the effect of SCP-XXXX-2 are to undergo psychiatric analysis and be put under surveillance for forty-two (42) hours.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small town known as ███████, Ohio, United States. SCP-XXXX contains a population of roughly 1,200 citizens. While inactive, SCP-XXXX is a standard town with no anomalous properties. However, when active (Henceforth referred to as event SCP-XXXX-1), a large amount of SCP-XXXX-2 (one instance corresponding to each civilian, each identical, with the exeption of blurred eyes, to it's counterpart) will appear loosely clustered in a random location within SCP-XXXX. This location is generally in a park or field.

SCP-XXXX-2 does not appear to be sapient in any form, as all instances are completely stationary unless acknowledged. when acknowledged (spoken to, touched, otherwise interacted with), all instances will vocalize a high-pitched scream measuring at approximately 110 decibels, lasting four (4) seconds. All SCP-XXXX-2 instances will than proceed to flee away from the person(s) that had interacted with one or more of the SCP-XXXX-2 instances.

Thereafter a memetic effect is experienced by those who had interacted with SCP-XXXX-2. for forty-two (42) hours. Affected individuals will report seeing SCP-XXXX-2 instances "stalking" them. This includes seeing instances watching the individual through windows, or peering around corners. However this effect cannot be observed by unaffected individuals, nor captured photographically.
