Now boarding; Next Stop

Similar to other building-type SCPs like the Ikea, the Staircase one, the Backrooms (technically a creepypasta not an SCP)

Desc. (partial):
While riding on the subway line in certain cities (Boston, Tokyo, NYC etc) at specified times throughout the year, a "portal" will open and allow riders to pass into an anomaly outside of reality called "The Stations" (or something of the sort) "Next Stop" {N: I've decided to call it Next Stop, as The Stations sound too much like a ripoff of The Backrooms}. Similar to SCP-Ikea and the Backrooms, Next Stop appears to go on infinitely, and victims who go too deep into Next Stop may possibly be trapped forever. Next Stop appear as the victim's intended destination, but with no other people present. Trains at the starting Station (as I called "Level 1 Station") initially show up at the correct time intervals, however as time passes, or as the victim progresses through different variations, (covered later) arrivals become more sporadic, with some variations being completely devoid of arrivals.

Signs of Next Stop:
On taking one's normal commute during the specified time-slot, there is a chance that the announcer will simply say "Now boarding [color] line train to……next stop…" in a muffled voice rather, than the train's next destination. Upon hearing this, the victim is still in normal reality, however this is the first sign that a "portal" to Next Stop is opened. During the ride to the victim's intended destination, operations will remain normal and everyone on the train acts normally. From the victim's perspective, a train leading to Next Stop appear to be moving the entire time, but taking longer than usual. (A non-victim perspective views the train stopping randomly on the tracks, then proceeding to the actual destination) During this ride, there is a chance that the lights may flicker anywhere from 2 to 5 times. After this flickering, the victim has passed from reality into Next Stop, and other passengers will not move or react to anything the victim does. Upon arrival to the "destination," train doors remain opened for an extended period of time, and people appear to board the train as usual. When exiting the train, no one else (besides the people who boarded the train) will be present, and the previously normal train will have no numbers, words, or defining features besides the paint job.

If the victim realizes they have passed into Next Stop, and the train doors have not yet closed, they may re-enter the train and return to reality. Re-entering reality causes the lights to flicker again, and the other passengers are now able to react to the victim. (Non-victims view this event as the victim boarding the train for the first time, as if they were not on the train to begin with)
If the victim does not get back on the train before it leaves, they are "stuck" in Next Stop.

Desc. (more):
The "Level 1" station appears exactly identical to the intended destination, however any stairs, escalators, or doors that normally lead out go to a nearly identical variation of the same station. As Next Stop exists outside of reality, electronic devices do not function properly. Although the phone displays full bars of data, tasks that require service do not work, and IF the victim is able to escape, the device returns to it's state before entering Next Stop (any note written on a device or damage sustained while in Next Stop will revert). Early on in Next Stop, variations of the station are relatively normal, aside from few minute differences, but the longer time goes on, or the more variations the victim goes through, the more chaotic the variations get.

Some normal differences include:
- Missing ceiling tiles
- More rats than normal
- Some lights flickering/ burnt out
- Trash scattered around
- Sporadic train arrivals
- Functional Vending Machines
Chaotic differences include:
- Certain stations devoid of arrivals
- All lights flickering/ burnt out
- Rat/ bug infestations
- Loud metal screeching (train wheel)
- Upside down station
- Decaying Human bodies/ skeletons
- Plant overgrowth
- Stations flooded with liquids

The trains that show up in Next Stop variations are all unmarked, with the only defining feature being the colored paint. Most trains have lights flickering or burnt out, with the occasional fully lit or fully dark train. All trains are devoid of passengers or conductors, and seem to run autonomously. After a train leaves the station, it seems to disappear and can't be followed through the tunnel. Tunnels are lit up like they normally would, but lead nowhere, and all "end" in an unlit section of tunnel. If the victim reaches a point in the tunnel where no light is visible on either side, they will be stuck in pitch darkness forever, to ultimately starve to death (Walking to a pitch black part, then walking back leads nowhere but more darkness rather than the Next Stop variation). At any point in Next Stop, a normal, full passenger train can show up which leads back to reality, although as time goes on, or as more chaotic variations are explored, the chance of a normal train showing up decreases exponentially. Time spent in Next Stop lines up approximately with real life, but entering a normal train from Next Stop will spit the victim out at the closest time slot of a portal opening (Victim is in Next Stop for ~13 months and 7 days, but the next portal opening is 13 months and 19 days, the normal train will spit them out on that date rather than the actual time spent in Next Stop)
