Special Containment procedures: Due to the high profile of this anomaly giving out amnesties would bee far too resource intensive, instead the building the develpopers (CDProject Red) was housed in was set on fire and that was the reason given as to why cyberpunk never released.
People with leaked copys of the game should have there copys forcfully taken and replace with duds. if affected by SCP-xxxx they should be disposed of throgh traceless lethal injection.
description: SCP-xxxx is the game cyberpunk 2077 being developed be CDPR, the game itself is non anomalous but playing it causes some anomalous effects and the act of attempting to publish the game publicly causes anomalous activity that permently effects the host. Anyone who attempts to publish the game or contributes to its code is gets convinced that the game is buggy and that they need to fix it. This is a not true, the game is not buggy so no amount of coding by someone affected by SCP-xxxx will ever fix it and no way to make them un effected by SCP-xxxx has been found.
People effected by SCP-xxxx will not leave a 30 meter radius around the work station they have been working on and is spoken to will reply in unintelligible grunts. They will only leave there station in the most dire of circumstances if at all and never leathe the 30 meter radius.
Addendum xxxx.1:how some one becomes affected by SCP-xxxx.
To become affected by SCP-xxx you must be prompted to upload the game, legally or illegally. Weather or not you've played the game doesn't matter and one may prompt them self if the stakes are high enough and there is a computer to start “fixing” the game nearby. The place they are being prompted to upload the game must be public, if convinced it ins't public then they will not be effected by SCP-xxxx as soon as someone affected be SCP-xxxx they will have 48 hours to find a computer and start working on the game, if they don't then the effects will be reversed.
Addendum xxxx.2:descovery.
The anomalous features of scp-xxx was discovered on December 10th when cyberpunk was delayed and the employees at CDPR stopped coming home. After a while a foundation police informant was sent to investigate4 days 3 days after the disappearance of all staff. When they got there 14 staff members have died due to not being close enough to a water cooler or bathroom and 8 had died from not sleeping, another 3 had died however the cause of death was not found because other staff cannibalised the body's beyond what a autopsy could discover so that they could continue working without starving and 2 staff killed them selves due to not having a computer to work at.

Some tests wont show up on here, they are kept on a second file as they are not necessary and as such on a need to know basis.
Test log 1:
A d-class personnel is put in a room with a chair and a computer and told to turn the computer on by doctor Page, the subject is told to turn on the computer and play the game on the desktop until he completes the first mission. Upon seeing the game is cyberpunk 2077 the subject expresses excitement before getting anxious about what the anomaly my be. The subject spends an obscene amount of time on character customization but staff allow this as it could be an effect of scp-xxxx. The game runs normally and nothing goes wrong. The subject is told to give some thoughts on the game to which he responds "the story was great but the game play was buggy, I even had to restart once." it should be noted that no bugs were observed and the subject did not restart once.
After that the subject is told to open up the next short cut and they comply. This brings them to the foundation website and they are told to attach the game to an article and upload it. The subject expresses a fear that the game may be leaked in an unfinished state but after being told repeatedly that no staff would leak the game the subject complies.
He was are then told to close that tab and open up the next short cut which leads them to a public website where indie developers can upload games or sell them. The subject is then told to leak the game but he refuses. After being threaten by security at the door the subject suggests a compromise, he'll upload the game but first he wants to fix the bugs. He then closes the tab and a new short cut appears on screen, its the game engine and the subject starts coding immediately. Before now he never once coded anything and now he was fixing a game. After this he becomes non responsive and is deposed of.
Test log 8:
for this test a d class personnel was exposed it the anomalous affects of SCP-xxxx and allowed to code for 6 hours. and then removed from the computer forcefully. they were taken out of the 30 meter radius they were allowed in by SCP-xxxx and then they started to thrash around and froth at the mouth while screaming, after 3 and a half hours they expired from a brain aneurysm.
test log 26:
A d class personnel is told to leak cyberpunk 2077 and given the tools to do so but she refuses stating "the game could be buggy, id have to play it to find out if its ready for release" then she threaten with torture if she does not comply. After further refusal guards apprehend the subject and pull out a number of tools the subjects starts screaming before having her nails ripped out. eventually all her nails toes, two fingers and most teeth are removed before the subject expires , refusing to leak the game to the very end.
