Its August 18th, 2008 at 9:25 P.M. Your name is Malorie Fletcher, a researcher assigned to SCP-173 with the task to figure out why does it kill people, what triggers its ability to move, its origins and if there are other living sculptures out there.

However, you and your fellow researchers have not been successful. This task of yours has been going on for months and found nothing conclusive. Its gotten to the point where you feel like giving up and know your not the only one as the others have made suggestions to cancel task in the past. Just before you decided to to make another request to cancel the task in your computer, you receive a notification of an email. Its one of your friends, Jacob, a researcher who is assigned to SCP-3220. You wonder what the email is, so you click on it.

You told me you were working on a working on a task about that statue. Here is a document I found inside of that shaft, which, I think its about SCP-173.

Do not worry, I had it checked and confirmed it contained no infohazards, memetics and cognitos. I even showed it to the Project Leader and he is considered adding this to the file tommorow. Possibly on 173's file as well, assuming you guys allow it. Hope this helps you.

SCP FOUNDATION DEPARTMENT OF ABNORMALITIES

Item designation number: 49621ES-173

Warning: The following item displays dangerous behavior.

Description of item: 186 cm in height, weight 264 kilograms. Green painted skin, a red-ish spot on its backside and an amorphous face. Item appears to have "arms" with "eyes" on its face. Head is rectangular with curved ends, legs are short, angled and arms have no hands. Has no form communication, however has some level of sentience.

Detail of current containment: Contained in a 6m X 6m X 6m metal room. Entrance is to be sealed at all times. Personal are not permitted to enter the item's containment chamber, unless for cleaning purposes. During cleaning, 3 prisoners are to enter the containment chamber and the entrance is to be sealed until cleaning has completed. Requests to research said item have been denied.

Report: Item was detected at [REDACTED], [REDACTED] after reports of a "monster" killed 24 civilians at an art museum. Containment teams were sent in, lead by General Hector to attempt containment. Due to lack of understanding of the objects nature, 3 members of the containment team was killed until another was sent in. Capture was successful and sent to Base ADRX-19 for containment. Containment procedures were developed by Dr. Edward. Witnesses were administered amnestics and a cover story was created. No records of how item appeared in the museum, its origins or the creator of it.

Item appears to attack its victims by broken line of sight. When viewed, item is completely still. When line of sight is broken (By blinking or looking away), item will create scrapping sounds and move at immense speed towards victim. If item gets too close, the victim will die by strangulation or neck snapping.

Personal report hearing scrapping sounds in containment chamber when not viewed. This type of behavior is normal and any deviation is to be reported to Project Lead Dr. Kennedy. Item also appears to emit a "reddish" substance, which are a combination of blood and feces. Source is unknown.

Addendum: 1 week after the formation of the Classification Committee, Committee has requested to classify 49621ES-173 as Euclid. Request is pending approval.

First, I… I've never seen a file like this, nor have I heard the department of abnormalities. The thing I find interesting is that at no point in 173's file does it mention about it killing people in an art museum and it is consistent with its behavior. This makes me wonder if there is other info about 173 the Foundation is hiding… Assuming this file is not bullshit. Other than that, nothing else.

Speaking of the Department of Abnormalities, who are they and what's their role? How come nobody has heard of it?

Description of item: Unknown age, somewhere in mid 30's-40's, female, pale skin, long black hair, Asian descent, skin is pale, weight unknown. No other exterior parts appear out of baseline.

Detail of current containment [PENDING]

Report: Item was detected in [REDACTED], Malaysia, after reports of a car at a parking lot being heavily deformed by unknown means. Undercover agents from the Asian branch of the Foundation were sent in to investigate, under the disguise of Police Officers. Agents questioned eyewitnesses until a passing motorcycle "crashed" by an unknown force, with the item looking terrified.

Agents then approached the item, asking for the cause of the accident and her health until she "shot out" metal fragments from the motorcycle towards the agents at high speed, killing them, with Agent █████████ being the only agent remaining and unharmed. Item apologized in panic before she ran into a forest. Agent █████████ immediately requested containment and disinformation teams to be sent in. Agent was recovered and sent to Base ADRX-75 for debrief.

Based on information gathered from eyewitnesses, item's legal name is Zaina Binti Muhammad . Foundation personal raided her home and gathered items of interest, however, could locate not █████ within. Additional reports of █████ were detected. [See document item of interest.243 for more details]

Item of interest appears to manipulate metallic matter by extending and reshaping to the appearance she desires, regardless of the metallic item's level of malleability and the amount of item. She does not, however, appear to be in proper control of her anomalous characteristic and showed signs of emotional shock and distress from it. It is unknown when, how or where she has achieved her anomalous ability.

Addendum: Confirmed reports of item in Terengganu, Malaysia after a power station was destroyed. Containment teams and mobile task forces have been sent in. Containment of item is a mid-high level priority.
