Item #: SCP-5421

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP 5421 is to be kept in a locked cell 3x3 meters2. There is to be constant CCTV surveillance inside of SCP 5421's cell. A reinforced 1 way window should be built on the wall opposite the exit door (the transparent side should be facing toward SCP 5421). The exit door should have a small metal hatch which can only be opened from outside the cell via a key. Throughout the day 3 separate processes must be completed a certain number of times at specific hours. Do not allow SCP 5421 within 100 meters of any other SCP, as failing to meet SCP 5421's needs may harm them.

Process A

SCP 5421 must have social contact with other humanoid organisms multiple times each day. This is achieved via the one-way window. Any Level One staff member may stand in front of the one way mirror, and have a fake conversation with SCP 5421. For safety reasons, the one way mirror prevents anyone without Class E personal security personnel from seeing SCP 5421, for reasons located further in this article. Social contact should last approx 15 minutes. Failure to give SCP 5421 enough social contact will result in it summoning a highly powerful malevolent force known as The ███, or SCP 5421-A . More about SCP 5421-A can be found later in this article. This is one of the reasons SCP 5421 is not allowed within 100 meters of another SCP.

Process B

SCP 5421 must be nourished 3 times a day with food and water. SCP 5421 has no preferences that we yet know of, so food and drink can be sourced from [REDACTED]. To feed SCP 5421, put food through the small hatch in the door. When not under observation, SCP 5421 will eat the food through methods unknown. If there is no food to consume at the time SCP 5421 is hungry, it will consume all matter within a 100 meter radius. This includes any structures, flooring and earth, and all organisms. If no matter is available within 100 meters, SCP 5421 will increase its radius by 50 meters. It will continue to do this until it has found at least 750 grams of matter to eat. 750 grams is at the very least, if more is available within its current radius, it will consume it all. This is one of the reasons SCP 5421 is not allowed within 100 meters any other SCP.

Process C

SCP 5421 must be thoroughly cleaned twice a day. Only Class E personal security personnel may attempt the cleaning of SCP 5421. To clean the main body of SCP 5421, use ordinary hand soap all over its body, and then spray it all off with a hose. To clean its teeth, use an ordinary toothbrush and toothpaste. Failure to clean SCP 5421 results in it bleeding an extremely corrosive acid the following day. This acid is capable of burning through a meter of steel. This is the final reason SCP 5421 is not allowed within 100 meters of another SCP.

Description:

SCP 5421 is a detailed clay head with humanoid properties. Through a single day, it needs to be fed, cleaned and have some social contact with another humanoid. Failing to meets its needs results in certain punishments, all of which are written in the Special Containment Procedures. SCP 5421 also occasionally changes its facial expression, but will only do so when not under visual contact (this includes through cameras, how it knows it is being watched is still being researched).

When a subject engages in the observation of SCP 5421, they report a feeling of uneasiness. Despite this, test subjects become extremely addicted to the sight of SCP 5421. Subjects have been reported to go into the state of madness approx 5 days after looking at SCP 5421 if they have not been allowed to see it again. When test subjects were allowed to look at SCP 5421 again, they would stare at him for hours on end. At the 10th hour, subjects vital signs begin to drop. Their heart rate can decrease to as little as 5 bpm, though they still stare at SCP 5421. Eventually their heart completely stops beating and the test subject dies but their dead body remain in the same position, and still stares at SCP 5421. Due to this factor, only a very few amount of people are allowed to view SCP 5421, and only for a brief amount of time, e.g while cleaning it.
