Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5036 is currently stored in Containment Vault 3201 under orders of the Delta O5 Council. SCP-5036 is to be monitored for any signs of SCP-5036-1 instances walking through into our dimension. Level 3 clearance is required to interact with SCP-5036.
Any tests with SCP-5036 are to be approved by two (2) members of the O5 Council and the Delta O5 Council.
Description: SCP-5036 is a standard mirror that is 0.60m in length and 0.762m in height. The glass of SCP-5036 is indestructible, while the frame can be damaged. When looking through SCP-5036, a person can see their opposite selves and the world behind them.
At first glance, SCP-5036 looks like a regular mirror, though when someone looks through, they can see a different version of themselves. These versions (designated SCP-5036-1) can pass through SCP-5036 as well as any other person. With multiple tests, SCP-5036-1 instances would sometimes have an opposite gender, a different personality, or both as the other person looking through the mirror.
SCP-5036-1 instances have been seen walking through SCP-5036 without anyone on the other side.
SCP-5036-2 is the mirror dimension seen when looking through SCP-5036. Multiple expeditions into SCP-5036-2 are currently impossible due to mass extinction of all humans in SCP-5036-2 by SCP-001.
Objects obtained from SCP-5036-2 seem to act the same as our real-world counterparts.
