SCP-5257 Art sketch made by a foundation artist

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5257-1 is allowed to roam the facility with a guard whenever she wants, authorization must be given for this to happen, she lives in a standard humanoid containment cell and is to be served with vegetarian meals twice a day, SCP-5257-2 should be locked in a small code lock steel safe inside the chamber, the password can be given if authorization is given by Scientific Department Directors or superiors, and is also known by SCP-5257-1. The cards aren't allowed to be used while SCP-5257-1 is in free roam, only inside her containment, during tests, or special occasions.

Description: SCP-5257-1 is a 18 year old human female with North American descent known as Lee, measuring 5'2" or 1,58 meters, and weights 100 pounds or 45 kilos, she has brown hair and blue eyes, and has no physical abnormalities besides her ability to use a magical deck of cards, designated as SCP-5257-2, that looks like a standard set of poker cards, according to her, the cards are a family heirloom.

SCP-5257-1 is very friendly and likes to host magical presentations to people nearby using her cards, all magics are made by combinations of SCP-5257-2's cards, and so far she only used cards individually, when asked if she ever tried combining the cards she responded that she never thought about that, it is theorized that SCP-5257 can make 8.06e+67 different magic tricks using all different card combinations possible, it is unknown if she is aware of her endless possibilities of possible magic tricks.

The magic tricks can range from harmless to somewhat dangerous, it is also unknown if there is a trick that can kill someone because SCP-5257-1 has shown extreme guilt after harming someone using her magic, and so far never used a deadly trick.

SCP-5257 was brought to the foundation by [[Mr Marshall]], and contained in the now neutralized SCP-1025 containment chamber, and is currently living in site ██ (read more at addendum 5257-1), due to SCP-5257's docile behavior and cooperation with the foundation, she was granted free roam on site while being guarded by a Nu-7 unit, but she is not allowed into restricted areas, such as the H-C-Z, unless when authorized by the Scientific Department Directors or superiors, SCP-5257-2 must not be used during the free roam to avoid possible accidents around the site, but she is free to use them inside her containment chamber, she is allowed to know the password of the safe the cards are stored.

Head Engineer ████████ and SCP-5257 were on their way to her chamber when a power outage was reported on site. He escorted SCP-5257 to her cell where he used his crowbar to force open the door. SCP-5257 was placed inside of her cell to hide in a corner and stay safe.

[35 minutes pass]

The Head Engineer returns and forces the doors open once again and hides in the chamber with her as a Riot was reported to be happening. SCP-5257 was covering her mouth proceeding to cry. The Engineer made and attempt to calm her down (Which was successful). They chatted for a bit before the site power was restored and the rioting had stopped.

Power Outage Diagnostics: Caused by all Control Center computers restarting and the Generators having a power surge which blew a few fuses. The ACDS was offline along with Alarms. While the computers were offline several attempts to fix the generators were made. Due to the computers being offline the generators didn't know how to redirect power (Contacting Head Engineer ████████ on this issue.
