Special Containment Procedures: All locations of the popular fast-food chain Chick-fil-A Are to be kept under constant camera surveillance by MTF-17 ("The eyes"). Major chicken slaughterhouses are to be informed of the nature of SCP-XXXX and are instructed to inform MTF-17 in the case of an instance of SCP-XXXX occurring. Members of MTF-17 and MTF-5 are prohibited from eating chicken-based products.
In the event of an occurrence of SCP-XXXX, MTF-17 should be ordered to go to the location of the incident to maintain order, administer Class A Amnesiacs to witnesses and make sure the incident is not filmed or broadcasted. In the event the incident turns violent, MTF-17 should call for backup from MTF-5 ("Riot Police"). Local police should not get involved.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomena that commonly occurs every 10-20 days near Major chicken slaughterhouses and the popular restaurant Chick-fil-A. Occurrences have been observed alternating between slaughterhouses and Chick-fil-A, but there is little else to predict when and where the next phenomena will occur. They tend to last 30-90 minutes, but have been observed lasting up to three(3) days.
The phenomena is characterized by instances of SCP-XXXX-1, who appear to be standard members of the species Gallus gallus domesticus, or the common domesticated chicken. They have often being observed holding signs that say things like "fre th chikns!" and "stp eatn us". Instances of SCP-XXXX have been observed from every breed of known chicken.
If an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is male, SCP-XXXX has a possibility to escalate into SCP-XXXX-2, a MSCR-class senario. These can happen at any time, but the chance increases if any of three conditions are filled:
A. Any human enters the area who has recently consumed chicken.
B. Any human consumes chicken in the area.
C. The owner or manager of any chicken slaughterhouse or Chick-fil-A restaurant enters the area.
SCP-XXXX-2 is similar to SCP-XXXX, except the instances of SCP-XXXX-1 will hunt, kill and consume any human in a 15 mile radius. This is non-conditional, and the instances will posses anomalous strength and speed, traveling at speeds from 32 kph to 2██ kph. Attacked individuals suffer deep puncture woulds to the eyes, temple and jugular vein. Once all humans have been killed and consumed (partially, only the arms, legs and parts of the chest are targeted). The instance of SCP-XXXX-2 will return to a state of SCP-XXXX.

Background and History:The first instance of SCP-XXXX was recorded on May 23, 2013, 67 years after the first Chick-fil-A was opened. Thankfully, it did not progress into SCP-XXXX-2, and it was at night, so no amnesiacs were required to be administered. The owner of Chick-fil-A was questioned, and he was resistant to comment. Eventually, the foundation was able to arrange an interview.

Person: Well, one day, I was just running my business, as usual, you know, marketing and stuff, when all of a sudden, I get a phone call. I answer it, and its my manager of the original Chick-fil-A location. he's telling me crazy stuff, like protesting chickens, and I just hang up. I thought it was a prank call.
Interviewer: But the strange calls continued.
Person: Yes. I get them once a month now. It's a miracle the press hasn't noticed yet.
Interviewer: That would be the foundation at work. Now, tell me, did you make any decisions before these protests started? Mostly considering the handling of your chickens?
Person: Yes, actually. I had authorized one of our slaughterhouses to ship us irradiated chicken.
Interviewer: Could you tell us how they killed the chickens there?
Person: (says nothing)
Interviewer: D██, whatever you say will not harm your business.
Person: It's… a trade secret.
(long pause)
Person: Oh, all right. They were using some new-fangled technology. Something about anti electrons or something.
Interviewer: Did they tell you anything else?
Person: Well, they kept saying they they kept losing chickens. Last time they called me, they were in a right state. They lost 120 chickens under camera surveillance. Kept ranting about them disappearing. They were also using some sort of new feed that made them age really fast. Not sure what they meant about that.
Interviewer: Thank you for you time, D██.
Person: Uh… you're welcome.
