Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-xxxx are to be housed in off site containment area-xxxx. Off site containment area-xxxx is a secure location located in a 1 square kilometer stretch of the Mojave desert. Off site containment area-xxxx is to be surrounded by a 2 meter high wall constructed out of standard concrete rebar mix with a gate located on its southernmost facing side. Three guards are to be station at the gate and one is located on each side are to be rotated every 6 months. once a month a team of 10 15 D-class are to be outfitted with full body light protective Armour and sent into off site containment area-xxxx with instructions to "help them practice their hugging".

Description: SCP-xxxx refers to a group of 15 32 anomalous saguaro cacti labeled SCP-xxxx-1 through -46. Instances of SCP-xxxx are more humanoid in appearance than most other saguaro cacti possessing only two "arms" on opposite sides of their body¹ and a smiley face carved into the front . instances of SCP-xxxx can speak in English and appear to be sapient stating "What a nice day, let's hug!" and "You're awesome, hug?". instances of SCP-xxxx have an innate urge to hug all living things and will attempt to hug any living thing they see excluding other instances of SCP-xxxx, although due to the amount of spines on them the majority of their attempts at affection fail.²

Recovery Log: On █/██/19██ an embedded foundation agent intercepted a call from the small town of █████ Arizona to the local police stating that there were living cacti attacking them. MTF Theta-4 ("Gardeners") successfully captured and contained 15 instances of SCP-xxxx. class-A amnestics were administered to the residents.

SCP-xxxx-12: Hey there how ya doing! ya want a hug? I bet you want a hug dontcha! I sure want a hug! Those people back there didn't want a hug but you want a hug right?

Dr. ██████: Right. SCP-xxxx-12 do you know who or what created you?

SCP-xxxx-12: uh…… hm… well I remember that she was about as tall as you only much more white and with kind of dark hair and she was away for a long time and then came back and let us get big! she had these friends who came through a door that wasn't there all the time and they told her that we were cool! later she took us through that door and let us hug all the people there! there were all these cool things around and she said they had a metaphor and that we were a metaphor! I like being a metaphor! That was such a cool place but then we had to run away which was sad.

Dr. ██████: Interesting, could you tell us more about why you had to run away.

SCP-xxxx-12: well all these blue men showed up and they started making the people fall over with their loud things and some of us fell over! They didn't get through the exit!

Dr. ██████: Very good SCP-xxxx-12 I think that will be all.

Closing Statement: SCP-xxxx-12 was put back into containment without incident. Further investigation into the woman mentioned and possible designation as POI-xxxx is being considered. It is believed due to the similar descriptions that the "blue men" SCP-xxxx-12 referred to were G.O.C. agents. Further investigation into a G.O.C. raid on an A.W.C.Y.? exhibition near the recovery site of the instances of SCP-xxxx confirmed this statement.

Addendum: On ██/██/20██ during a raid on an A.W.C.Y exhibition 17 additional instances of SCP-xxxx were discovered as well as SCP-████ SCP- ████ and SCP-████. During the raid a pale black haired female was sighted³ escaping through a way with three additional instances of SCP-xxxx. Designation as POI-xxxx has been confirmed and further investigation into the origin of POI-xxxx has initiated.
