Where would Josie begin their journey? Josie simply wandered into an evergreen forest, with no hope of returning to the home they once knew. The twin-striped blades of the trees created a kaleidoscopic array of patterns, only to be accentuated by the unique turns of the ever so rough bark. Within the dirt laid all sorts of strange insects, none of which batted an eye towards the half cat. Josie saw all these specific details, but only for a single moment. Afterward, a new thing caught the interest of this strange cat.
The wonder of exploring this new world refused to cease, even though it should have. Josie didn't care. Josie simply wanted to see new things and stay far away from the loud bangs. The trees protected them. Nothing could bother Josie in this single moment.
