SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Pending

Description: SCP-XXXX is a white pine tree growing out of a sugar maple in Dr. Lewicki's yard. The pine is between 3 and 4 meters off the ground and 20 cm below a trunk-trunk crotch. The base of the pine is completely surrounded by maple bark proving no clear way for it to obtain nutrients or water. It is hypothesized that it either leeches them from the maple tree or violates mass-energy conservation.

Notes: This had been in my yard for a good 15 years, but I only recently realized it might be anomalous.

Dr. Lewicki,

Your recently uploaded file for SCP-XXXX has been flagged and will be removed from the SCP database at 12:00 tomorrow for the following reasons:
1. It has not been researched enough to determine if it warrants full SCP status, and given your description, it should belong on the list of anomalous items.
2. You used your level 4 credentials to bypass the standard entry process. That is for emergency use only.

One of The Foundations leading cognitohazard specialists has no good reason to be researching arboreal anomalies. My advice is to just let this go, or else you'll lose your clearance level just as quickly as you got it.
