Known to be both peaceful and highly sociable, these creatures live in pods of up to thirty individuals and feed off cosmic radiation, traveling from solar system to solar system through interstellar distances. Despite being widely acknowledged as a sapient species, no civilization has successfully communicated with a Leviathan. These creatures possess massive, empty chambers within them, brimming with the seeds of life: strange stones and vegetation, breathable air, and bioluminescent lighting. The number of chambers each creature has, and exactly how each looks, varies from member to member. However, once they reach the end of their life cycle, these creatures will beach themselves on planets, where life will slowly begin to form within them and be released once the creature expires.

There are potentially thousands of other Leviathans out in the universe. It is not known how they are born, but it is known that large pods will live in relatively empty solar systems close to the star before departing for their ark-based purposes.

The only known Leviathan specimen observed by the Foundation is SCP-169, referred to as "Levi." Believed to have resided on Earth since the Precambrian era, Levi currently lies dormant, producing seismic tremors that resemble "breathing" every three months.

Their First contact with the Human race (more specifically, the SCP Foundation) was an event of rather humorous circumstances, and was the result of the routine testing of SCP-3788, a water gun that can produce spatial anomalies. Upon firing the object, a submarine-like craft shot out, which contained roughly eight passengers. While initially knocked unconscious by the oxygenated atmosphere on Earth, the Foundation managed to bring them back to full health in large tanks of liquid ammonia. Upon Full recovery, the alien castaways taught the Foundation their language so that the exchange of information would be less difficult. From there, the Foundation Found out that these aliens originated From Titan, and learned of various aspects of Titanian culture and civilization. Eventually, the Titanians were safely transported back to their Moon.

At some point in the recent past, Luyten b experienced a halted K-Class event known as K-3841. K-3841 was caused by SCP-3841-0, a 3,190 km long titan that currently lies dead as a ruined skeleton on the planet's surface. This rabbit guides and orders the other groups, hence considered the leader of the place. Vidnepas from Arneb's body behave, most of the time, like any rabbit on Earth and feed on flowers with stellar characteristics that only grow where they are found. They are highly aggressive if any of these flowers are destroyed. There is also a period of time where they will dance to the Moon with an exciting dance culminating in the birth of a flower and a rabbit.

However, it should be mentioned that the spectrum visible to Theians extended to a wide range of infrared because there was no conventional light in the depths of Theia.

Before the Earth existed, there was a planet called Theia orbited by two moons in its place, but it was destroyed by a calamity and replaced by our planet. Theia, at the time of its demise, however, was home to an advanced silicon-based lifeform that perished along with its planet. Some of its artifacts, however, survived inside the Earth for eons until their reemergence, in the age of humans.

The pockets can also be used to create water jets to propel them in underwater environments.
