Description: SCP-XXXX is a heavily damaged but complete deck of Bicycle brand playing cards, containing 4 suits, 2 jokers, and a warranty card. "Alexandra Daley" is written in cursive writing on the case exterior. The object has regenerative abilities, and is able to completely reform from the largest intact piece. Should individual cards be destroyed, they will reform within the case.

Periodically, the box spontaneously ignites at around 250 degrees Celsius. This flame is consistent with that produced by magnesium sparks, such as those produced by commercial flint and steel or magician spark gloves. The fire burns until it is extinguished or the majority of the object is destroyed, typically taking 2 to 5 minutes. This is hypothesized to be the result of a temporal loop caused by a traumatic incident in the objects past.

The item was recovered from the Shining Bear Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada following the collapse of the building due to a fire. At the time of the fire, stage magician Alexandra Daley - now missing and presumed dead - was performing. Alexandra Daley is known to have connections with the Cult of the Cracked Sun, (GoI-1392) an organization dedicated to freeing what they refer to as "sun gods, unmolested by time" from the interior of stars. This organization is anomalously capable of harnessing solar and death energy. Foundation moles have deemed them as a level 1 threat to Foundation operations, and a level 2 threat to the Veil. Continued supervision recommended. Foundation astronomical site AU-SOL-1392 constructed with the purpose of examining associated phenomena. Alexandra Daley was a head religious figure in the group, who wrote most of their sacred literature. In the event that additional literature or anomalies are recovered from this group, their threat level is to be re-examined.
