Special Containment Procedures: The individual SCP-XXXX designates as its "master" is to be forbidden from leaving Site-216. Guard personnel whom SCP-XXXX deems to have "high potential" are to escort the individual to prevent containment breach attempts utilizing SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity composed of an unidentified material that has an electromagnetic radiation absorption rate of 100%, making it appear completely black. It will designate an individual it views as having "high potential"1 as its "master," and will follow the orders of its master to the best of its abilities. It is capable of entering shadows, where it can move into adjacent shadows. It will stay within its master's shadow unless directed otherwise. It carries a bladed weapon composed of the same material it is, which it will use when needed for performing an order from its master, or to protect its master. SCP-XXXX refuses to harm individuals it deems has high potential.
SCP-XXXX's master will invariably expire within a time period of 3 to 6 months. When they approach their limit, SCP-XXXX's master will begin to disintegrate. Their extremities will begin to disintegrate first, followed by their limbs, torso, and head. When its master has completely disintegrated, SCP-XXXX will designate a new master. So far, nothing has been able to prevent the expiration of SCP-XXXX's master.
