Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX are to be stored in opaque containers. Each instance is to be stored with other instances of its type, and each type should be stored separately.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to instances artwork which causes certain emotional responses in those who view them. These effects are not produced by photos or replications of SCP-XXXX instances. Some instances will instead express these emotions instead of causing them. There are 5 types of SCP-XXXX: SCP-XXXX-A through SCP-XXXX-E.
- SCP-XXXX-A instances cause individuals who directly view them for more than 3 seconds to feel heightened joy and euphoria. This effect instantly ends when the viewer ceases observation.
- SCP-XXXX-B instances cause individuals who directly view them for more than 3 seconds to feel extreme rage, and will compel them to damage nearby surroundings. As the effect instantly ends when the viewer ceases direct observation of the instance, no actual damage has been done by a viewer.
- SCP-XXXX-C instances cause those who directly view them to feel a substantial amount of sorrow. Viewers will show symptoms of clinical depression, and will often attempt to harm themselves. These effects end instantly when direct observation of these instances is prevented.
- SCP-XXXX-D instances remove the emotion of individuals who directly view them for more than 2 seconds. Affected viewers will be completely incapable of feeling emotion for 3 seconds after ceasing direct observation of these instances.
- SCP-XXXX-E instances cause those who directly view them for more than 1 second to feel a minor increase in their affection and appreciation for loved ones. This effect lasts indefinitely, even if the viewer ceases direct observation of the instance.
Several SCP-XXXX instances, especially sculptures, are composed of an unidentified material that has an electromagnetic radiation absorption rate of 100%. This material has been designated SCP-XXXX-1.
