Special Containment Procedures: Information regarding SCP-XXXX-C is limited to personnel with Level XXXX-1 Intelligence Clearance, and to personnel with Level-2 General Intelligence Clearance.
Researchers and staff are not to be assigned to Site-100 for any duration surpassing 4 hours. Site-100 and the surrounding 1 kilometer region are considered dangerously unstable space and unfit for extended human presence. Personnel assigned to management and observation of Site-100 are to be stationed at the Site-100 Security Annex.
The Site-100 Security Annex has been established 4 kilometers inland (south-west) of Site-100 for the purpose of monitoring and security. The Site-100 Security Annex is located 45 kilometers inland from the nearest populated site on Antarctica. Any trespasser identified within 10 kilometers of any Site-100 structure is to be detained at the security for questioning. Chief staff of the Security Annex have complete discretion regarding how to manage any non-anomalous trespasser. All trespassers are to be reported during daily data transfer to the Records and Information Security Administration (RAISA).
All parts of Site-100 are to be monitored using closed-circuit cameras routed for use by the Security Annex, with exception of the Site-100 enclosed garden area. Foundation personnel may only enter the Site-100 enclosed garden area with advance permission from the current head of Site-100 security.
Site-100 has been installed and surrounded by localized Hume-reading measurement devices for monitoring by Security Annex staff. Measurement devices are intended to identify and document spatial anomalies in and around Site-100. All readings are to be transferred once daily by satellite data transfer to the RAISA. Any identified interruption or irregularity in Hume measurement is to be noted by staff before daily data transfer. Hume readings which exceed ±30h at any time, or which exceed ±10h and last for over four hours, are to be immediately reported off-site by satellite data transfer and investigated at the soonest possible time. All anomaly investigations are to be conducted by Site-100 researchers with an accompanying security detail. Any readings of less-significant fluctuation or time do not require investigation by personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX-C is an anomalous region of space encompassing Foundation Site-100 and its surrounding area. Site-100 was a research facility reserved for exclusive use by the formerly active Department of Symbology. The Site is located 160 kilometers inland from Mt. Erebus and McMurdo Station, in the Transantarctic Mountain Range. Measurements of the Site with a Kant Counter indicate that the region provides an ambient Hume reading approximately 20 points above similar Antarctic regions. Such readings would indicate that reality is less susceptible to anomalous effects, and is more spatially stable. The abnormally high Hume-levels of Site-100 are believed to be the result of the Department of Symbology’s development of SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX-C subject to spontaneous material distortions, which have been designated SCP-XXXX-B.
