Fragments Sandbox

Welcome to the Fragments page! This tool allows users to share ideas and writing that they find novel, but can't find a way to write up in an article. The ideas/snippets can then be used as inspiration by other users having trouble coming up with an idea.

Do Post:

  • Snippets of descriptions, containment procedures, addenda, and other pieces of writing.
  • Specific concepts for tales. There does however need to be a minimum amount of effort put into the post:

A tale describing a containment breach of SCP-173 and the horror this event creates. The reader would be reading this through the viewpoint of a member of the foundation as they evacuate the site.

2. Don't Post:

  • Concepts for SCPs. This is not to be mistaken for pieces of text from SCP descriptions. Only posts that amount to "try making an SCP that's like this…" should not be posted.
  • Themes for users to follow while writing an SCP.
  • Concepts related to popular media.
  • Boilerplate text for specific kinds of articles.

3. Posting

To post your idea go to (insert link). A staff member will then look through the post. If they deem the post to be a good addition to the page, it will be added.

4. Usage of Fragments:

Anyone who uses a fragment from this page should not immediately announce their usage. Only after an article reaches (Insert proper number here) upvotes should a user post the piece to (insert link).
