Description: SCP-4173 appears as a 7,3 medieval cavalry soldier, and speaks English in a heavy, low pitched English accent. SCP-4173 has never been observed without armor. SCP-4173 is attached to a horse wearing medieval horse armor, who is referred to as SCP-4173-1. SCP-4173-1 is attached to SCP-4173 and any attempt to remove SCP-4173-1 from SCP-4173 has been futile. SCP-4173 exhibits normal human behaviors such as a requirement for food, water, sleep, and also shows decisive behavior, where as SCP-4173-1 acts like a normal horse. These requirements for food and water seem to only irritate the SCP-4173 and SCP-4173-1, and they will be uncooperative until their needs are met. No long term effects have been recorded and after further testing, SCP-4173 and SCP-4173-1 are immortal.
SCP-4173 is friendly towards SCP Foundation personnel and enjoys telling tales of battles to personnel. SCP-4173 is no longer allowed to communicate with Foundation personnel due to his corruptive abilities. After testing, it was revealed that listening to SCP-4173 tell stories has an effect on the brain, an effect which comes in 5 stages, each stage coming after a half hour of listening to SCP-4173. Each stage increases the subjects loyalty to SCP-4173. The first stage is the subject beginning to adapt SCP-4173’s accent and use medieval slang that is commonly used by SCP-4173. During stage 2 the subject adapts a medieval name for him or herself, and becomes highly aggressive is they are referred to by a different name. When this stage is reached, the subject is to be referred to as SCP-4173-2. When stage 3 activates, SCP-4173-2 will have the urge to find “armor”, which is anything hard that can be worn on the human body. Some examples of this are pots and bowls to be worn on the head, and other supplies are put together to be worn on the chest, arms and legs. SCP-4173-2 will also search for objects that can be used like a sword or lance, and once this object is found SCP-4173-2 will not want let go of it. When SCP-4173-2 reaches the fourth stage, SCP-4173-2 will show signs of having false memories of battles that are very similar to that of SCP-4173. In some instances, some subjects have SCP-4173 in their memories. Other subjects have said to have memories of injuries that they never had. The fifth and final stage of the corruption process causes the subject to have complete loyalty to SCP-4173. Some instances of SCP-4173-2 attempt to kill themselfs or Foundation personnel if kept away from SCP-4173 for extended periods of time
