Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4973 is to be contained in a secured lock box. Access is restricted only to Level 3 research staff directly assigned to SCP-4973. any items created by SCP-4973 are to be incinerated if possible

Description: SCP-4973 is small spinning top toy designed to spin rapidly on the ground, the motion of which causes it to remain precisely balanced on its tip due to its rotational inertia. SCP-4973 displays incredible durability, and while materials testing has been limited, the object has yet to receive even minor abrasion. SCP-4973 can be picked up and held immobile and no anomalies appear

when SCP-4973 is spun cracks start to form on the floor and walls within 10 metres of it and red lights start too shoot out of the cracks, the lights do damage to whatever they hit and should be avoided during testing, after 5 minutes of SCP-4973 being spun the cracks begin too widen revealing human organs and insides in the cracks, later testing showed that they belonged too all staff within a 20 metres of distance, after 15 minutes the cracks will open wide enough that a average human could walk through it, a D class was instructed too walk through it during the second test, after entering the D class started too scream for about 10 minutes and suddenly stopped after not communicating for 5 minutes we pulled him back out his arms were torn off and a green substance was tearing away at his flesh and anything that comes into contact with it

the D class was then terminated due too not being able to move or speak to any personnel, the camera that was mounted on his torso showed every thing go black after he had entered, two red lights appeared and a low growling the lights got closer and blinked, the audio was muffled over the D class screaming in terror, the entity now to be described as SCP-4973-1 said very faint words that the foundation could not decipher

about an hour after SCP-4973 was spun a low growling could be heard and thousands of rays of lights started shooting out of the largest gateway killing 3 of the staff monitoring SCP-4973 a ray of light started to turn into a ball on top of SCP-4973, testing was then stopped due too massive damage to surrounding areas, later on personnel within the 20 metres started having visions and they all described it like a dragon

Addendum: on ██/██/████, eight of Site ██ Keter-class entities were able to breach containment, causing a failure of both primary and backup generators throughout the facility, and resulting in the loss of ██ personnel. While power was disabled, the young personnel Dr.███████ fearing for his life thought spinning SCP 4973 could help him……
