Special Containment Procedures: There are currently no discovered means of physically containing SCP-XXXX. Description: From information obtained from participants of Events-CTH, SCP-XXXX is a young adult human male named [REDACTED], a university student, approximately 2█ years of age, 6'██" in height, wears a standard pair of prescription glasses, and possesses skill with the [REDACTED]. No such name and description matches any currently living person.
SCP-XXXX manifests itself in multiple locations, primarily in and around ██████████ University in the city of ██████████, New York. Small amounts of appearances have been reported around Buffalo, New York and New York, New York. The first manifestation of the subject is stated to be on August ██, 20█7.
In the event of a standard manifestation, SCP-XXXX will behave typically for his described age and gender. It will only appear in the group gatherings of a ██████████ University student organization, [DATA EXPUNGED]. Any members of the organization, and any additional persons attending these gatherings, will be able to acknowledge SCP-XXXX's existence and interact with the subject as with any other person.
Non-standard manifestations are to be labeled as an Event-CTH, referring to the activity performed by the student organization during such events, "███████ the ███." In these events, members of the organization will attempt to play a game involving obtaining a ███ from its current holder and to be in the possession of the ███ at the end of an arbitrary time span. Each event occurs in the basement of Site-XXXX-B, the library of ██████████ University.
During an Event-CTH, SCP-XXXX will not be a direct participant in the activity, instead posing as a helpful guide, self-titled "The Warlock." In games, the subject will appear at random in the basement of Site-XXXX-B, greet players upon discovery, and prompt them with a question, most often in the form of a riddle. A player who successfully answers the subject's question, now referred to as "Master" by the subject, will then be aided by the subject in obtaining the ███ to win the game. The subject will display full knowledge of the location the current holder of the ███, indicating this through saying "I hear something" and motioning in a general direction. SCP-XXXX will take the following commands when under control of the "Master:"
- Blocking a passageway with its body
- Chasing the current holder of the ███
- Giving the ███ to the "Master"
- Winning the game in the name of the "Master"
While completely compliant with the orders of the "Master," the subject is not guaranteed to successfully complete the orders.
